The IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN will provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on appropriate action. Some afterhours work possible and on-call schedule rotation required. IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: Perform helpdesk duties in person, electronically and via phone by research and diagnosing problems to resolve computer related issues. Documents by entering tickets, documenting work and solutions, and escalating problems in accordance with company policies and guidance. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on company computer equipment & infrastructure (such as PC, Servers, Firewall, Switches, Cabling, Printers and peripherals) to ensure maximum uptime and highest performance. Perform installations, troubleshooting and maintenance of company software such as Office365 Suite, CAD, manufacturing software packages, ERP system, file management, SQL databases and more. Performs access control, group policy management, patching and application deployment in a Microsoft Windows environment subject to governmental security requirements. Build and maintain system images/workstations configurations. Performs workstation builds, maintenance and replacements. Recommending upgrade needs and documents changes according to company policies. Maintains all associate documentation for configurations and assets in accordance with company requirements. Ensures that company policy, goals, and objectives are being adhered to and works in the best interest of the company. Provides technical support companywide with the highest level of customer service to ensure company policies, goals and objectives are achieved. Identifies, prioritizes and escalates matters of urgency. Able to keep company and employee information confidential. Support both facilities and will need to be able to travel/drive to each facility (MN and WI). Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. 0-2 years' experience in a help desk support function 2-4 years of experience in a tech support function, preferably from a manufacturing environment KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers & Clients, networking, firewalls, switches, end point security and end user productivity software packages. Experience in research, troubleshooting, analysis, and training in relation to information technology problem solving and end user support. Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications and IT support customer service practices. Ability to travel via car. Show initiative in work by being a self-starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely matter. Team collaborator with ability to work independently in a high-paced environment. Flexible, proactive and organized with a can-do attitude. Working knowledge of CMMC and/or NIST requirements preferred. The SHIPPING CLERK will perform all day-to-day shipping functions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against packing slips, purchase orders, invoices, orders, or other records to company specifications. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers. Inserts items into containers with appropriate packaging around items to keep them protected in transport. Issues purchase orders to vendors. Contacts suppliers on issues and late deliveries, and also does returns. Calculates correct weights and shipping charges (UPS, Speedy, Fed Ex, etc.), and affixes postage. Receives, unpacks, and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Tags incoming shipments of parts with correct job number. Routes items to schedule board and updates board and computer. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet company-defined specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Perform clerical duties as needed, such as preparing certification packets, labels, packing slips, certificate of conformance (C of C), filing, scanning, photocopying, collating, and faxing. Parts - clean, visually inspect, gage and count parts when receiving and prior to shipping. Spot inconsistencies. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or equivalent and 1 year of related office or shipping experience is preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Knowledgeable of the different types of shipping services and options. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities. Exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to think independently. Must be able to work in other areas on an as needed basis. Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Show initiative in work by being a self-starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely matter.
