Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
· Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
· Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.

Qualifications:
GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
· Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:
· Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
· Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
· Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Hyrum City is accepting resumes for a Water & Irrigation Superintendent for its municipally owned and operated Culinary Water and Pressurized Irrigation Department. The Water & Irrigation Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the utility.
The Water & Irrigation Superintendent performs a variety of managerial, administrative, project management and field supervisory duties related to planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the construction and maintenance of the city's culinary water distribution infrastructure, and secondary pressurized irrigation system delivery maintenance and infrastructure.
Hyrum City Culinary Water and Pressurized Irrigation Departments operates with an annual budget of approximately $3.5 million. The Water and Irrigation Superintendent leads a staff of three.

Provides high quality, senior executive leadership to encourage innovation within the City that results in a modern government responsive to residents and businesses.
Have considerable knowledge of culinary water and pressurized irrigation production and delivery; design and analysis; purification and sanitation; and knowledge of contract development and administration.
Oversees and performs water system maintenance. Excavates and repairs water leaks, installs new water mains and services as needed along with scheduling leaks being fixed and prioritizing workload to operators and technicians., thaws frozen pipes, and maintains wells and water chlorination system.
Have skills in planning, directing, and managing the overall operations of a municipal culinary water utility, including developing/implementing policies and procedures, determining rates, and preparing and monitoring the budget, and preparing reports.
Required Education and Experience:
Education: Graduation from High School; AND Experience: Eight (8) years of experience performing the above or closely related duties with two (2) years of daily management and on-site charge; OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of two (2) years of culinary water management.
Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
Must be a Utah Certified Water Systems Operator III or higher and be eligible with the State of Utah to be the DRC .
Must work on a twenty-four (24) hour stand-by or on call.
Proficient with various software and preferred GPS software.
Requires ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor lifting up to 75 pounds and able to twist, kneel, and bend for associated tasks performed in the field.
Ability to work in extreme hot and cold environmental conditions.
Be available for snow removal from October through April.
Must work on a twenty-four (24) hour stand-by or on call.

JOB TITLE: Insurance Verification Specialist/Scheduler Full Time GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for scheduling all surgery cases, verifying patient eligibility and benefits, verifying insurance prior authorizations, and providing patient estimates. He/She will liaise with multiple referring doctor's offices and will be an integral part of our business office team and will be valued as a key member of our organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Scheduling surgeries for the surgery center.
* Work with physician offices daily to ensure surgery center has all essential information to be prepared to perform procedures and verify and provide financial clearance prior to surgery.
* Select appropriate physician preference cards for facility staff to be prepared for procedure.
* Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits and confirm procedure is a covered service under their insurance plan for the surgery center.
* Verify authorizations and pre-certifications and work with physician offices and insurance to obtain as needed.
* Calculate and provide estimated financial responsibility to patients prior to services.
* Provide back-up support for the front office and registration as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience scheduling appointments and/or surgeries, preferred
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience with medical insurance verification and authorizations for medical procedures, preferred
KNOWLEDGE:
* Knowledge of clinic policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of managed care contracts and utilization.
* Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 Codes
* Knowledge of Deductibles, Coinsurance, and Copays
* Knowledge of computer systems, programs and spreadsheet applications.
* Knowledge of medical terminology
SKILLS:
