This position will be responsible for the design, development, timing and production release of a vehicle line Exhaust System and/or underbody heat shields. Other responsibilities will include quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management. The Design Release Engineer will interact with suppliers and will work closely with internal and external groups such as testing and prototype labs, CAE engineers, vehicle program team, supplier operations and manufacturing plants.

The Fuel Injection System Design & Release Engineer will be responsible for the Core Engine fuel injection components on one or more major engine families, including components such as high pressure fuel pump, Direct Injection Rail, High Pressure Fuel Line, Port Injection Rail, PFI / GDI Fuel Injectors, and other fuel system related components. This is a key position within our Core Engine Engineering team and the activities include developing components, managing and directing changes, facilitating continuous improvement in system performance and fuel economy, and carrying out engineering root cause analyses and corrective actions when necessary. The Engineer will work closely with designers and CAE groups to optimize designs and will use the DFMEA to identify and rate risks and build a robust DVP&R to ensure testing is completed to reach reliability goals. The candidate will initiate source packages, hold APQP meetings during the development phase, order prototype parts, carry out and monitor DV and PV testing, and participate in post-test reviews including failure analysis. The engineer is involved in all aspects of product launch including component, system, engine, and vehicle testing, manufacturing reviews, development of service procedures, production launch, change management, and continuous improvement.

The Design and Release Engineer - Will be responsible for developing initial design concepts through full volume production. Provide feasibility input for development of designs from Product Design Office (PDO) concepts, sketch, and clay models. Establish and manage development timeline for life of project. The Engineer will develop functional objectives, build objectives, DVP&R, and DFMEA. Engineer will lead design, leveraging external design source and/or internal CAD design resource. The Engineer will be responsible for the release of completed geometry using CATIA/NX CAD tools. Validate virtual designs using CAE and physical validation via component, system, and vehicle level testing. Manage internal documentation for release of systems and change management. Plan and oversee tool construction and production assemblies. On-site support for vehicle pilot builds and production launch at assembly plant. Responsible for root cause analysis and determination of corrective action for issues with assembly, fit/finish, and functional performance. Analyze and remediate warranty, identify cost reduction opportunities on production.

The Transfer Case DRE will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of Transfer Case Assemblies. This includes Active, Part Time, Hi and Low range, along with mechanical or electrical shifters etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering, with a focus on driveline systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead projects from concept to production. It requires strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to seamlessly work with cross functional teams. The candidate will leverage their expertise to optimize the designs and contribute to innovative solutions for improved performance and reliability. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of transfer cases along with their components, including interface design, chains, shafts, bearings, sealing systems, output flanges fasteners, planetary gears, wet clutches, Shift collars, forks, synchronizers, motors and actuators. We are looking for a Design Release Engineer (DRE) with deep expertise in plastic components for automotive seating systems. This role will be responsible for the design, development, and release of plastic components within the seat system, ensuring compliance with performance, cost, and timing objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of plastics engineering, tooling, and manufacturing processes, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Component Ownership: Lead design and release of plastic components for seat systems (e.g., side shields, backs, trim covers, recliner covers) Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, durability, and regulatory requirements Engineering Execution: Lead the design & development activities according to Stellantis design practices Manage change control through CN/PLM systems Supplier Interface: Work closely with suppliers on tooling feasibility, material selection, and manufacturing processes Support DFMEA, DVP&R activities with suppliers Program Delivery: Track and meet program timing, cost, and quality targets Resolve technical issues promptly and escalate risks as needed Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with structures, foam, trim, and JIT teams to ensure seamless integration of plastic components Support launch readiness and plant build events

The Design Release Engineer - Refrigerant Loop is responsible for the development and validation of the automotive HVAC compressor and A/C lines. The candidate will ensure the components meet performance objectives and will coordinate development with other functional areas such as powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and suppliers. Duties will include (not limited to) writing source packages, specifications, requirements, change notices and overall supplier management to meet program timing and deliverables. Candidate will maintain a component and sub-system DVP&R, support and keep up to date with component bench testing, simulation, drive-cell and static cell test results as well as perform data analysis and establish proper corrective actions as required. Need to lead virtual team to design and perform CFD and FEA analysis for components to meet performance. Candidate will also need to support pilot and pre-production build process at the assembly plant for development and installation of AC line and compressors.
