Data Management Creation and Maintenance
Develop, structure, and maintain data management systems to support AISIN CPS (Controlled Purchasing System) for Raw Material and to integrate MRO data across all AISIN North American plants.
Design data tables to map raw material grades to select Tier-2 suppliers under the AISIN CPS program.
Build a centralized MRO data management structure, consolidating items by manufacturer numbers and plant-specific details, progressing toward unified AISIN MRO part numbering by sub-commodity type.
Develop automated data import processes to merge information from ERP systems, plant spreadsheets, and supplier data files.
Establish data normalization and cross-reference logic to ensure high data integrity and eliminate redundancy.
System Integration and Process Automation
Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, and Engineering to connect the data management system with existing cost-tracking, RFQ, and tariff-management workflows.
Define version control and revision history methods for supplier and part information.
Automate data validation (duplicate checks, completeness verification, and formatting consistency).
Strategic Data Management Development
Define data architecture and indexing strategies for efficient search and reporting across multi-plant data sets.
Establish data governance: user access standards, backup routines, and security controls.
Work with Purchasing, Material Engineering, Design, and Plants to maintain structured update processes and data ownership.
Support development of cost benchmarking and predictive analysis capabilities.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Support Raw Material, MRO, and Commodity Teams with data insights for supplier mapping, cost reduction, and risk assessment.
Create clear documentation (data dictionary, process flows).
Participate in cross-functional workshops to improve reporting usability.
Train users on data entry, search, reporting, and interpretation.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
Essential Skills and Experience:
2-5 years of experience in data system design and integration.
Strong understanding of relational data structures (SQL, Access, or similar).
Experience consolidating data from ERP or plant-level systems.
Strong analytical ability and attention to data integrity.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Finance, and Engineering.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data tools (Power Query, Access; Power BI a plus).
Beneficial Skills and Experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Direct and oversee the creation and release of shop orders and build orders, ensuring prioritization aligns with demand, material availability, and company objectives.
Ensure production and assembly schedules are developed accurately and efficiently, balancing customer priorities, sales forecasts, and component availability.
Review, audit, and validate planning processes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
Partner with Engineering to oversee routing accuracy, coordinate engineering change requests, and ensure timely updates to shop orders.
Collaborate with Purchasing to proactively identify material shortages, mitigate risks, and provide timely updates to senior management and Customer Service.
Work closely with Production leadership to monitor work order status, address bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to the manufacturing schedule.
Provide leadership in supporting Sales and Customer Service by ensuring accurate recovery schedules for missed shipments and reliable lead times for customer requests.
Oversee processes for tracking critical customer orders in the ERP system and ensure accurate, timely updates are communicated to stakeholders.
Drive initiatives to improve workflow efficiency, production control methods, and overall planning processes.
Implement best practices for inventory optimization, material planning, and capacity management.
Oversee the development and delivery of planning and production reports, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights for business decisions.
Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems for scheduling, inventory management, and performance tracking.
Monitor and analyze machine capacity and bottlenecks, collaborating with manufacturing leadership to align resources effectively.
Supervise, coach, and develop production planning staff to strengthen skills in scheduling, ERP use, and cross-functional collaboration.
Set team goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
Ensure team members are trained in proper auditing of shop orders, production adherence, and inventory management practices.
Anticipate and resolve risks related to material shortages, schedule delays, and capacity constraints.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and quality requirements across planning activities.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time on-site position. Normal office workdays are Monday through Friday. This is not a remote position.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and possible out-of-country travel may be expected.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or (GED)
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent business acumen, with demonstrated skills in process improvement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5-7 years of experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain management (manufacturing experience preferred).
Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage teams.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The Supply Chain Management Engineer develops and implements comprehensive supply chain strategies and standards to improve efficiency, reduce costs and supply chain-related standards, assess the health of each link, and monitor supply chain operations.
Essential functions of the job:
Share with the supplier, explain and confirm the relevant logistics agreements (including the SSOW), and complete the signing.
Review supplier DOH and critical sub-supplier material inventory status.
Periodically review and confirm whether the supplier's DOH meets the standards.
Review the reliability of the supplier's logistics and warehouse systems and assess how well the warehouse system supports and safeguards supply.
Support the establishment of the EDI system between the company and the supplier and continuously monitor it to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare and sign supplier documentation, including packaging plans and logistics agreements.
Review customers forecast with each supplier to ensure on-time delivery.
Develop and sign with the supplier the process for issuing and receiving demand (including various situations such as demand changes, inability or refusal to meet demand, and additional conditions).
Review the supplier's capacity, including related document signoffs and system operations.
Review supplier capacity and bottleneck during process. Setup contingency plan with each supplier.
Participate in and develop the early-stage review of the supplier's production readiness at each project phase, including preparation documents for each stage, phased supply chain completion, and detailed confirmations.
Accurately track the supplier's production ramp-up progress through on-site audits, including aspects such as facilities, personnel, equipment, and processes.
Setup SCM KPI to each raw material suppliers.
Tracking SCM KPI and search for CI opportunities.
Setup SCM KPI to logistic agent (transportation and customs clearance).
Monitor the risks during operation and transportation. (eg. Strike, environment disasters, un-expected leaving rate etc.)
Evaluate the supplier's capabilities in various scenarios, including emergency response, error correction, and rapid reaction, and establish corresponding requirements.
Managing supplier relationships and solving supply chain challenges.
Participate in the Continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Integrating new information, reducing costs, and maximizing revenue
Plan and execute supply chain audits through on-site supplier visits to verify compliance with contractual terms, operational standards, and supply continuity requirements.
Position requires travel to various suppliers in North America (up to 25% of time)
