About the Role We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to help expand rekroot's reach, build lasting relationships with prospective clients, and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new clients in the financial services industry who need help recruiting advisors or staff. Sales Ownership: Take full responsibility for meeting personal sales goals, while maintaining a long-term vision of leading overall sales activities for the organization. Partnerships:Work with strategic partners rekroot has developed in the industry to place roles they may have open, or top rated candidates of rekroots' to be placed in their roles. ● Client Experience: Manage the sales process from start to finish, ensuring that clients have a clear understanding of rekroot's offerings and that their expectations are aligned with the high standards we set. Creative Outreach: Develop innovative strategies to initiate more conversations with potential clients and expand rekroot's reach. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry leaders. Consultative Selling: Understand clients' hiring challenges and offer rekroot's suite of recruiting solutions, including AdHoc Recruiting and the PRIME Candidate Club. Market Research: Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities in the financial services industry to position rekroot effectively. Pipeline Management: Use CRM tools to track and manage leads, follow-ups, and client interactions. Collaboration: Work closely with the recruiting, marketing teams and co-founders to align strategies and provide feedback from the field. Brand Advocacy: Represent rekroot at virtual industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to raise awareness of our services.     **Substrate/Consensus (Rust) Engineer** **Location: Remote** As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Rust development within our Consensus Protocol Engineering team you will be joining highly skilled engineers, cryptographers, and researchers responsible for developing BFT consensus algorithms for Space and Time's next generation data platform. You will collaborate with the rest of your team, other Space and Time teams to implement and test the core consensus algorithm. You will play a critical role as part of our core team and will have significant impact and influence over the direction of our technology. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing BFT consensus algorithms, defining and prioritizing short and long term deliverables, coordinating with other teams, and learning a small development team to ensure high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities: * Writing production ready Rust code to build an efficient , resilient BFT consensus algorithm. * Developing supporting tools, performance benchmarks/metrics and tests in Rust and/or other languages. * Codifying best practices for future reuse in the form of accessible, reusable patterns, templates, and code bases to facilitate future growth. * Working with engineering leadership to define, prioritize, and ensure smooth deployments with other operational components Skills & Qualifications * 5+ years software engineering experience, preferably in areas like distributed systems, consensus, p2p/libp2p, core networking. * Experience in asynchronous programming with Rust * Contributions to a public substrate based network * Deep understanding of blockchain and web3 fundamentals Nice to Have * Bachelor's degree in math, computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field. Masters or PhD is a plus. * Familiarity with libp2p, gossipsub * Familiarity Byzantine Fault Tolerance protocols. * Familiarity with cryptographic primitives such as elliptic curves, BLS, key management. * Familiarity with microservices, gRPC/protobufs in Rust.
