American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN with recent Cath Lab experience for a day shift position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in a Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Daily schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
Patient assignment is 1:1 with adult and geriatric populations
Duties include supporting STEMI, ACS, PCI for CAD, arrhythmias, ROSC, and device implant cases
Procedures include diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, Impella insertion, left/right heart cath, cardiac stent placement, and rotablator atherectomy
Call required 1-2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend shift per month
Uses Maclab for documentation and Allscripts preferred
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory, interpreter, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Provide circulatory support and cardiac monitoring during specialized cardiac procedures
Pre-start orientation includes 8 hours of onsite training plus required modules
RTO must be submitted before contract start
First-time travelers accepted; no travel experience required
Holiday coverage required as scheduled by department
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Return staff eligibility reviewed on a case-by-case basis
One pre-approved time off request is permitted
Requirements
Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab RN experience
Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, circulate procedures, AICD insertion/programming, tilt table study, and procedural sedation

Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Interventional Radiology unit
Care provided to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30
On-call required for 10-12 shifts per schedule, including 3-4 weekend on-call shifts with overnight and rotating weekend coverage
Procedures include angioplasty, neuro thrombectomy, TIPS, nephrostomy, stent placements, lung biopsy, central venous access, dialysis grafts, and more
Uses Sunrise Allscripts, McKesson, and SBAR for documentation
Participate in a wide range of advanced interventional and neurovascular procedures
Be prepared for frequent on-call and rotating weekend duties
Two recent professional references from a supervisor within the last 2 years are required for consideration
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior Interventional Radiology nursing experience with neuro thrombectomies is required
