Responsibilities
Work in the Medicine Specialty Unit of a hospital setting
Patient population includes a variety of medical patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex
Night shift position with 12-hour shifts, three days per week
Assignment length is 13 weeks
No local candidates accepted; candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius
Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting patient responses, assisting physicians, administering medication, and managing IV infusions and blood products

Work in the Medicine Specialty Unit of a hospital setting
Patient population presents a range of medical conditions from simple to complex
Night shift position with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
13-week contract assignment
No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
Responsible for a group of assigned patients, including monitoring, documenting responses, and administering medications and IVs
Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures
Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
Six-month separation required after 26 weeks of assignment before returning to the unit
Requirements
Active OK or compact RN license
At least one year of recent RN experience required
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
Demonstrated skill in professional nursing theory, practice, and coordination of services
Basic computer proficiency required

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring an Oklahoma or compact RN license and specialty certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) providing care for newborns with a range of complex health conditions
Hospital setting with a patient population of critically ill neonates
Night shift schedule, 7PM to 7AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities include assuming care for assigned neonatal patients, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and assisting with minor procedures
Delegation of tasks to support staff as appropriate
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates per 50 mile radius rule)
Strong teamwork and the ability to interact effectively with families is expected
Requirements
Active Oklahoma or multistate compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
Current BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association required
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs
