Responsibilities
Work in a large hospital Birth Center with 15 labor rooms, 12 antepartum rooms, 4 OB ED rooms, and 3 ORs
Serve a high-acuity labor and delivery population including hypertension, preterm labor, C-sections, multiple births, and postpartum hemorrhage
Up to 300 deliveries per month with a 33% C-section rate
Typical patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines: 1:1 for active labor, 1:2 non-active laboring, 1:2-3 antepartum as acuity requires
Frequent use of Epic EMR, Centricity/Qx fetal surveillance, Alaris CareFusion pumps, Pyxis, CAD Solaris epidural pumps, and Panda Warmers
Scheduled for 12-hour night shifts with a weekend rotation and no mandatory call requirements
Floating may occur to antepartum and postpartum areas based on scope and experience, except for Assistant Nurse Managers
Comprehensive team support includes CNAs, LPN/NRP-certified scrub techs, free-floating charge nurses, HUC/receptionists, phlebotomy, respiratory therapists, laborists, residents, and anesthesia
Precepted orientation provided, including hospital orientation plus 2 weeks on the unit and 1 week independently
Traditional orientation includes one day NEO, two days on unit, and a cardiac rhythm interpretation exam
Incidental days offhours) must be discussed with management
Holiday coverage is required and distributed fairly among staff
Scrubs are provided and must be worn only inside the facility
Free designated parking is available on site

No floating required outside the home department
Scheduling may include weekend rotation, every other holiday, and repeating shift cycles

CT transporters available except from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Team consists of up to 5 CT techs during business hours and 3 after 5:00 PM
Orientation includes NEO and at least one week in the department

On-call required 4-7 days per month by sign-up, with a 60-minute response time preferred within 30 minutes; specific call shifts for weekdays and weekends
Holiday coverage is on-call only
Floating to other units only in emergency response situations
Perform patient admission, preparation, and recovery care for a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures
Multidisciplinary support available including 24/7 cardiologist, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and SWAT IV team
Scrub attire provided by the hospital
Unit is part of a newly expanded, modern campus with a collaborative and supportive team environment
Orientation consists of less than one week if competent in required skills
Requirements
Active WA or Compact RN license at the time of consideration
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab or comparable acute care setting
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS
Experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis preferred
Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from the past 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor in the past 3 years
Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Must not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity directly in the past year

American Traveler is seeking a MRI Technologist with BLS, ARRT-R, and WA state licensure for a 13-week night shift contract.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital MRI unit with access to 107 beds
Handles medical, surgical, heavy orthopedics, oncology, and low acuity telemetry patient cases
Utilizes Epic EMR, McKesson PACS, and Meditech systems
7 days on, 7 days off schedule with 10-hour night shifts, every other Thursday to Wednesday, including every other weekend
No on-call required
COVID vaccine required for all staff
Open to first-time travelers
Two professional references from a supervisor or above are needed prior to start
Candidates will participate in a manager interview
Requirements
Current BLS certification
ARRT-R credential and Washington state license required
Must have ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
Minimum of 1 year MRI experience
Experience with Epic, McKesson PACS, and Meditech preferred
