Working under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be primarily responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling, and analyzing balance sheet accounts. This individual will also the overall team on various needs to ensure timely execution of departmental duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recording and reconciling various balance sheet accounts; including but not limited to various prepaids, accrued liabilities, payroll accounts Participate in the month-end closing for assigned journal entries and accounts Specific tasks such as reconciling CIP and fixed assets, posting weekly payroll and benefit journal entries, processing monthly expense reporting platform, and assisting in local bank and cash reconciliations Work with auditors to support the annual audit Other departmental activities as required Education & Experience: BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA is preferred, but not required. 0-2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis with general ERP experience. PDI experience preferred, but not required. Other Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and must be able to pay strict attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Daily Pricing & Market Analysis Execute daily fuel price updates across all retail locations. Monitor competitor prices, price movements, and regional trends. Identify pricing anomalies or margin risks and recommend corrective actions. Performance & Margin Optimization Track and report daily/weekly fuel margins and volume trends. Conduct analysis to understand volume response to price changes. Identify opportunities for margin expansion or volume recovery using data-driven insights. Support pricing tests, pilots, and regional pricing strategies. Data & Reporting Aid in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and automated pricing insights for leadership. Analyze historical price/volume patterns, competitor deltas, and diminishing-return thresholds. Maintain pricing datasets, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
