Road Ranger, a growing multi-state travel center company, is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Data Entry Clerk to join its Payroll Department! The Payroll & Benefits Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for the daily data entry of new hires, employee changes, benefits, separations, verifications, and any other date entry required in the Company's store-level payroll and benefits systems. This position will also provide outstanding internal service to store-level employees in their payroll and benefit needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute the timely and accurate processing of all data entry weekly for all store employees, including the data entry of new hires, separations, ADP assistance and payroll changes.
Assist with distribution of benefit information and data entry of employee enrollment and terminations to include notification of information to carriers.
Respond to external requests and demands such as employment verifications, garnishments, and other payroll and benefit related items.
Provide outstanding internal service with employee questions and problem resolution.
Special projects and other duties as needed.
Education & Experience:
Relevant work experience and/or college degree in Accounting, Payroll, or similar field required.
Proficiency in Data Entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products including Word and Excel.
Experience with payroll processes is a preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute the timely and accurate processing of all data entry weekly for all store employees, including the data entry of new hires, separations, ADP assistance and payroll changes.
Assist with distribution of benefit information and data entry of employee enrollment and terminations to include notification of information to carriers.
Respond to external requests and demands such as employment verifications, garnishments, and other payroll and benefit related items.
Provide outstanding internal service with employee questions and problem resolution.
Special projects and other duties as needed.
Education & Experience:
Relevant work experience and/or college degree in Accounting, Payroll, or similar field required.
Proficiency in Data Entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products including Word and Excel.
Experience with payroll processes is a preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work through company provided leads and seek business opportunities in the transportation industry.
Responsible for daily inbound and outbound phone calls including dialing a high volume of cold calls per day.

Education & Experience:
