Working under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be primarily responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling, and analyzing balance sheet accounts. This individual will also the overall team on various needs to ensure timely execution of departmental duties. Working under the supervision of the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and soliciting potential fleet customers to grow the Company's Fleet Program and proprietary card program. Inside Sales Representatives will build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects, specifically for professional drivers and small fleets between 5-20 trucks. This position will also provide outstanding internal service to store-level employees in their payroll and benefit needs. Job Description Road Ranger, a multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking to add outgoing and driven Inside Sales Representatives to the growing Fleet Sales Department at its Schaumburg headquarters! Working under the supervision of the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and soliciting potential fleet customers to grow the Company's Fleet Program and proprietary card program. Inside Sales Representatives will build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects, specifically for professional drivers and small fleets between 5-20 trucks. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of the trucking industry, sales and customer account management experience, and the ability to dial a significant number of unsolicited calls per day. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Identify and solicit new business; build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects. Identify and monitor new opportunities within existing book of business. Work through company provided leads and seek business opportunities in the transportation industry. Responsible for daily inbound and outbound phone calls including dialing a high volume of cold calls per day. Identify client needs, suggest product/service features, promote benefits, and quote prices with potential and current customers to promote the Company Fleet Program. Update all leads and opportunities through Salesforce CRM system in a timely and efficient manner. Follow up with customers to obtain contracts and provide additional information. Job Description Road Ranger, a growing multi-state travel center company, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its growing Accounting Department! Working under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be primarily responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling, and analyzing balance sheet accounts. This individual will also the overall team on various needs to ensure timely execution of departmental duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recording and reconciling various balance sheet accounts; including but not limited to various prepaids, accrued liabilities, payroll accounts Participate in the month-end closing for assigned journal entries and accounts Specific tasks such as reconciling CIP and fixed assets, posting weekly payroll and benefit journal entries, processing monthly expense reporting platform, and assisting in local bank and cash reconciliations Work with auditors to support the annual audit Other departmental activities as required Education & Experience: BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA is preferred, but not required. 0-2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis with general ERP experience. PDI experience preferred, but not required.
