Ensure that the Cold/Cool Chain is not broken when shipping temperature-controlled packages.
Responsible for data entry and inventory management for shipments leaving the facility and producing the necessary documentation for shipments leaving all departments. This includes assisting with Clinical Kit distribution process as required.
Maintain excellent customer service for internal and external clients, ensuring high levels of communication is maintained throughout the processes. Complete and provide shipping documentation to clients as necessary.
Help coordinate and manage Couriers, Freight Forwarders, and Integrators as necessary,
Maintain adequate stock levels, and an accurate inventory of shipping supplies, including equipment and packaging.
Ensure that equipment and supplies for use in shipping have been appropriately calibrated and/or qualified as required by site procedures.
Operate various warehouse related equipment, including but not limited to a pallet jack, mechanical lift, carts, etc.
Perform general housekeeping duties, and follow all safety procedures

Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
Any combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Valid Driver's license with the ability to meet the MRC Global vehicle policy; and have the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card upon hire.
Ability to learn MRC, federal, health, and safety regulations, learn MRC Global sales and operational business processes.
Basic computer skills.
Basic math and good reading skills.
Additional Qualifications
Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and to respond to inquiries.
Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines & expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact
Maintain and observe safety rules at all times.
Enter data accurately into systems and operate scanners efficiently.
Control documentation in reception and shipping areas.
Report discrepancies in receipts and shipments to the Import and Export team.
Coordinate inventory of consumable materials and manage document archiving.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammembers.
Support process improvements for warehouse efficiency.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Minimum high school education.
Legal working age.
Experience in data entry and file management.
Proficiency in handling portable scanners.
Knowledge of inventory counts and SAP system.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
