The Heavy Equipment Operator reports to the Senior Heavy Equipment Operator and is responsible for operating machinery to move materials safely and efficiently. Key duties include following all safety procedures, performing inspections, and assisting in various yard operations as needed. Main Responsibilities: Adhere to safety and work procedures at all times. Operate heavy machinery to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Use a 988k Caterpillar to unload trucks and stage materials on the infeed deck or storage areas. Operate Liebherr & Volvo High Lifts to sort and move materials to designated inventory locations. Assist with production as needed, including loading the infeed line. Clean industrial equipment and maintain a tidy work environment.
