Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse staff and designated work cells

Conduct start-of-shift meetings, review job requirements, and ensure proper setup of work areas

We're looking for a Procurement & Inventory Specialist to take ownership of MSS USA's daily purchasing operations and internal inventory processes. This role is central to building standardized, data-driven workflows that enhance our cross-country supply chain across the US, Taiwan, and Japan-while supporting compliance with internal audit and ISO requirements.
Role Objective
To manage MSS USA's procurement activities and internal inventory operations, develop scalable workflows, and help establish a resilient and compliant supply chain foundation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Operations
Issue POs, perform basic sourcing and price comparison, and manage vendor communication
Track lead times and coordinate delivery schedules
Perform receiving and acceptance checks for purchased items (with engineering teams)
Prepare and organize AP documents for Accounting
Maintain vendor data; support supplier qualification/evaluation
Maintain ISO-related procurement procedures and documentation
Support Japan procurement activities when required
2. Inventory & Warehouse Management (Internal Materials Only)
Receive, label, store, and track internal materials
Maintain the inventory system and perform regular stock counts
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when quantities fall below thresholds
Coordinate with engineering teams on consumables and spare-part usage
3. Supply Chain & Process Improvement
Support creation of standardized procurement and inventory workflows across TW/US/JP
Assist in implementing digital tools for purchasing and internal inventory control
Track supplier performance and support cost-optimization initiatives
Participate in continuous improvement and process-standardization projects
In addition, this role may occasionally support customer sample pickup as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory control, or administrative operations
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors, engineers, and cross-functional teams
Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain documentation for audit and ISO requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with procurement, ERP, or inventory systems
Prior experience in semiconductor, high-tech, manufacturing, or R&D environments

About the Role
Synergos Lumber + Truss in Gonzales, TX, is seeking a highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to help us maintain accurate inventory levels, support operational efficiency, and keep materials flowing.
This role partners closely with managers, buyers, and operations leadership to ensure our inventory processes support on-time, high-quality production.
What You'll Do
Perform accurate cycle counts, physical inventories, purchasing, and receiving checks.
Oversee inventory activity connected to BOMs, WIP, Finished Goods, stock rotation, and substitutions.
