This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, while also managing a diverse team that includes accounting staff and customer service representatives. Key Responsibilities
+ Accounting & Financial Management
+ Lead all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, billing, and payroll.
+ Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, and applicable government regulations.

Requirements
+ Active CPA license (non-negotiable)
+ Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage both accounting functions and customer-facing teams.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with non-financial stakeholders.
+ Proven ability to lead through change and manage team retention challenges.
+ Experience in a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.

**Location:** Mead, CO
**Pay Range: up to** $30/hour based on experience
**Shift:** Friday-Sunday
**What's the Job?**
+ Prepare job setups including building tools, fixturing, and material preparation according to programmer specifications
+ Coordinate with programmers on job progress and suggest potential improvements
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
+ Load and unload CNC equipment and materials safely and accurately
+ Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
+ Experience in the Aerospace field
+ Familiarity with machine shop tools, equipment, and quality instruments
+ Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment
+ Willingness to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule
