Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. - A minimum of 3-6 years of progressive corporate or public accounting tax experience, with at least 2 years in retail fuel, convenience store, or downstream oil and gas operations. - Strong knowledge of fuel and excise tax reporting, multi-state sales and use tax, and property tax compliance. - Familiarity with tax compliance software such as Avalara, Vertex, or equivalent. - Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems like Oracle or similar platforms. - Solid understanding of ASC 740 income tax accounting standards. - Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. - Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration.
