    We are looking for a skilled Commercial Loans Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will focus on compliance analysis and support the management of commercial loan portfolios. This is a long-term contract position requiring someone with strong attention to detail and experience in loan servicing, monitoring, and documentation. Responsibilities: - Organize and prepare loan files for sorting, uploading, or scanning to the imaging center. - Ensure loan files, whether in physical or electronic format, are maintained to meet audit standards. - Create and manage borrower and guarantor profiles, as well as reporting and financial covenants in the loan monitoring system. - Update customer profiles and covenants based on credit approvals or loan agreements within the loan monitoring system. - Assist Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers with inquiries and system-related issues regarding loan monitoring processes. - Generate regular portfolio management and monitoring reports within the loan tracking system. - Oversee insurance requirements for new loans and ensure existing policies remain current. - Review executed loan and credit documents to confirm proper signatures, dates, and initials. - Facilitate loan closings and collaborate with Operations and Compliance teams to approve, book, and fund loans. - Support audits and respond to audit-related requests as needed. Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in loan servicing and portfolio monitoring. - Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial loan documentation and closings is preferred. - Familiarity with Moody's or similar financial systems is a plus. - Knowledge of accounting systems, ERP solutions, and financial reporting processes. - Understanding of regulatory reporting and month-end close processes.
