- Be actively involved in managing the general ledger.
- Regularly prepare and review financial statements, making certain of their accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Support the close processes at the end of each month and year, which includes handling reconciliations and journal entries.
- Play a crucial role in the creation and implementation of internal controls and financial policies.
- Keep a close eye on cash flow and participate in forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Collaborate with auditors by providing the necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure that all tax regulations are complied with and assist in tax filings and reporting.
- Analyze financial data and make recommendations to enhance financial performance.
- Be responsible for process improvements and system implementations to boost efficiency.
- Supervise the accounting staff, providing necessary guidance and training.

Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experienced Plant Controller to support a $10M Manufacturing client in Mansfield, Ohio. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining effective controls over processes.
