Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in managing business-to-business collections and ensuring efficient account resolution. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, particularly in using VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, and possesses a solid background in commercial and consumer collections. Responsibilities: - Handle a portfolio of business-to-business accounts, averaging approximately 286 accounts, and ensure timely collections. - Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, to analyze and manage collection data effectively. - Conduct virtual training sessions to support team members and ensure adherence to collection processes. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and negotiate payment plans. - Maintain accurate records of collection activities and communication with clients. - Monitor account statuses to identify overdue invoices and prioritize collection efforts. - Apply knowledge of commercial and consumer collections to streamline processes and improve efficiency. - Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations throughout all collection activities. - Provide regular updates and reports on account statuses to management. - Adapt to changing priorities and workflows as needed to meet collection targets.
