As a Branch Operations Assistant, you will:

Answer incoming calls to the branch as well as receive clients, vendors and prospects, during normal business hours. Be responsible for the client service & marketing functions of one or more Financial Advisors following a wealth management or portfolio management business approach, including any operational functions necessary to meet client service requirements. This highly visible position requires a polished professional with superior, communication, customer service and organizational skill

* Greet and direct incoming clients, visitors and business associates in a helpful, professional and pleasant manner.
* Answer inquiries from clients, prospective clients, and business associates; provides clients with quotes and current balances.
* Assist the Social Media strategy for Financial Advisor(s)/team, including LinkedIn, FA Website, Twitter, etc.
* Maintain FA/team website with frequent content posting. Prepare and present content ideas to marketing lead.
* Seek ways to enhance FA(s) business effectiveness and marketability.
* Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for Financial Advisor(s), as well as leverage the platform to manage the client relationship through mailings, reporting, e-mail tracking, and more, with the goal of implementing well-defined client service models.
* Plan, coordinate and arrange for vendor luncheons, client meetings, etc. Set up conference calls.
* Sort, process and route incoming and outgoing mail.
* Copy, fax, and file various materials as needed.
* Log Compliance files. File paperwork such as wires and branch manager daily reports.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Compliance team is growing and we are seeking a Business Analyst who will be primarily responsible for oversight of regulatory reporting, including Consolidated Audit Trail ("CAT"), trade reporting, and bluesheets. As a Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting Compliance, you will:

* Act as a resource and provide a high level of service to internal clients, providing interpretive advice as to the application of securities regulations to various business scenarios.

As a Client Specialist you will:

Be responsible for the client service & marketing functions of one or more Financial Advisors following a wealth management or portfolio management business approach, including any operational functions necessary to meet client service requirements. You will also participate in the Financial Advisors(s) business development efforts in alignment with the Financial Advisor(s) long-term business plan.

Client Service

* Responsible for client onboarding coordination, which includes managing Financial Advisor(s) prospect pipeline, assisting with proposal generation, preparing new account paperwork, opening accounts, transitioning new assets to Baird and establishing an ongoing communication/client service plan.
* Partner with Baird's Corporate Resource Groups and be knowledgeable of the services they are able to provide FAs, CAs and clients providing the best outcome for clients and the firm.

Marketing

Business Development

* Proactively review investment opportunities on a daily basis & notify Financial Advisor(s) to take action on those opportunities with the goal of driving the Financial Advisors' business. Specifically, this may include funds available/money line, maturing securities, reorg items, previous days' activities and external websites.
* Support FA business plan objectives and align individual goals with the plan.
* Work with Financial Advisor(s) to directly generate new business and maintain/increase existing client relationships through various techniques including developing systems for cross-referencing and/or cross-selling that enhance client satisfaction, build client retention and create client loyalty.
* Work with Baird Corporate Resources to create advanced client reports and potentially present these finding to clients. (Social Security Review, Financial Plan, Estate Documents Review, Insurance Quotes)

Operations

* Initiates and completes all transactions required to fully service client accounts i.e. paperwork, correspondence, client request fulfillment and special projects as needed
* Ensures compliance with Baird's policies regarding correspondence, books and records requirements including trade policies, seminars, and marketing.

We have a new opportunity to join our Compliance team as a Private Wealth Management (PWM) Surveillance Compliance Analyst or Officer! You will work to ensure the accurate and effective surveillance of retail brokerage and investment advisory activity. The PWM Surveillance Compliance Analyst or Officer will assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving potential sales practice issues related to retail client activity. The position requires extensive interaction with associates throughout the firm's Private Wealth Management business, Compliance, and the firm's Corporate Resource Groups. In addition to knowledge of brokerage products, rules, and practices, comprehensive knowledge of Investment Advisory rules is a plus.
As a PWM Surveillance Compliance Analyst or Officer, you will:

* Effectively review and analyze exception reports, and other information sources, designed to identify issues related to retail brokerage and investment advisory transactions. Resolve issues as necessary.

* Investigate and resolve questionable transactions, activity, and funds movements in client accounts.

* Serve as a compliance resource for the branch system.

* Serve as an escalation point for reviewing complicated activity and transactions.

* Participate with the Compliance Surveillance team in projects and discussions with associates across all Client Resource Groups.
