What You'll Spend Most of Your Time Doing
Provide supportive services to offenders to assist with constitutionally mandated legal actions and other legal filings upon the request of an offender. Responsible for collecting and responding to Access to Court forms and providing legal resource materials or legal assistance. Assist with legal claims, make authorized photo copies, notarize and mail legal documents to the extent the work does not constitute the practice of law without a license. Make appropriate accommodations for disabled, illiterate, or foreign language speaking offenders.
Contractor must maintain professional liability insurance certificate or carrier letter.
