Learn and Understand Cost Accounting concepts per US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Obtain an overview of data and sources thereof used by the Cost Accounting team in various analyses.
Review and build upon current Excel models used in cost accounting and reporting to improve their efficiency (filtering, sorting, and data structuring. Develop and implement streamlined processes for data manipulation.
Create standardized templates and macros to automate repetitive tasks.
Document changes/create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for enhancements.
YOU ARE:
I am currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
Familiarity with data analysis and process improvement techniques.
