Individuals selected for the position will be expected to perform investigations of workers compensation claims, liability investigations, multi-line insurance claims, criminal and civil background checks, and other investigative tasks.
The majority of cases worked in this position require stationary and mobile video surveillance.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SURVEILLANCE:
Thoroughly complete assigned cases.
Testify to the collected facts obtained in any hearing or court of law as needed.
Assist other investigators on challenging cases.
Make sound judgments both during the investigation and with future handling recommendations.
Turn in updates, evidence, and report in timely manner.
Upload surveillance video upon completion of investigation.
The nature of this job requires early hours, long days, and travel into surrounding areas.

Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $83,000.00 to $138,400.00 annually. The target range for this position is $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually. Scope of Job: The Operations Manager is accountable for the effective operation of a single renewable energy project that encompasses activities such as budgeting, cost management, daily optimization of planning and organization of day-to-day staff work. You will be upholding a safe working environment for your direct reports and assuring employees and contractors are adequately trained to perform day-to-day maintenance and repair activities at the project sites. It is the manager's responsibility to ensure that he/she and the team perform their job duties in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures, customers objectives, and within the boundaries of the applicable law, regulatory and contractual compliance. Monitor operational performance indicators including those attributable to financial losses, determine if they develop negative trends, identify technical performance improvement opportunities, and develop mitigation plans while keeping budget, contractual compliance, and cost management on a forefront of every decision.

Team Leadership/Supervision:
Assign direct reports with all applicable training and access to the development resources to assure they can effectively deliver on their day-to-day tasks and adhere to EDFps policies and procedures that are expected of them to conform to.
Provide direct reports with continuous feedback and hold the team accountable for compliance, performance delivery and working within the boundaries of all EDFps Core Values with emphasis on the importance of Safety, Teamwork and Good Sense.

Contract & Regulatory Compliance:
Understand projects' permits, related laws and various related contracts language (O&M, OEM, TSAs, FSAs, LGIA, Road Use, Crossing and, Landowner Agreements etc.) and, as applicable, comply with, or help with compliance of their respective requirements.
Coordinate with EDF power solutions Operational Control Center and, as necessary, with the Off takers and Transmission Providers on all activities related to adhering to rules of ISOs, Balancing Authorities, and Regional Transmission Operators.
Collaborate with internal groups and vendors to ensure the project meets applicable NERC and FERC requirements regarding security, reliability, and maintenance.
Stakeholder Management Support:
Support stakeholders and other members of EDF power solutions in management of relationships to optimize project performance and help in delivery of project compliance (i.e., Local and County authorities, Landowners, OEMs etc.)

+ Answer telephone calls for BEPC and member systems primarily during non-business hours in an incoming call center environment. YOUR SCHEDULE
This position requires regular travel and overnight stays throughout the assigned multi-state territory. As a consultant, you will also have the flexibility to set your own schedule to best meet the needs of our members within the territory and attend meetings.
YOUR DAY
As a Safety and Risk Management Consultant, you'll collaborate with rural electric utilities to improve safety and mitigate operational risks. Your role includes conducting loss prevention assessments, identifying exposures, providing tailored recommendations, delivering training sessions, guiding field teams, and maintaining communication with state contacts, while contributing to bi-annual reports on industry developments.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman or in electric utility operations
