Highlights Department: Diagnostic Imaging - Marlborough Medical Center Hours: Part-Time/24 hours (This is a benefits eligible position). Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA. Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake. Nursing duties including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, draw blood, give injections, and perform clinical tasks Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action. Operate or oversee operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during X-Ray Scans Ensures imaging equipment is proper operating condition. Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment. Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely matter and forwarding charts as appropriate on a daily basis. Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Radiology Hours Per Week: Flexible Hours Schedule: As Needed As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality, greatly enhances the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs. Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts. Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
