Position Summary: The Care Corps Coordinator will work to provide integrated student support by addressing out-of-school barriers to learning through partnerships with social and health service agencies and providers. They will work to gain family and community engagement by making the school a neighborhood hub, providing adults with educational opportunities they want, such as ESL classes, green card or citizenship preparation, computer skills, etc. The Care Corps Coordinator will manage the complex joint work of multiple school and community organizations. The Care Corps Coordinator will also work to address chronic absenteeism and support school attendance efforts.The Care Corps Coordinator will serve one school site in San Jose, Redwood City, Concord, or Antioch. The Care Corps Coordinator will partner closely with the mental health provider, office manager, school leaders, and other related service providers to provide direct social work services to help students succeed in their classrooms. This position is contingent on term-limited supplemental funding and will be reassessed annually.
The CareCorps Coordinator will report to the Manager of Care Corps.
The salary for this position is $68,640.Essential Functions:
Case Management and Care Coordination of services for students and families. Support by coordinating, connecting the people to programs, externally and internally, document and provide progress updates to campus stakeholders when appropriate.. (i.e. expanded learning: behavioral health; and family engagement and support) to each other and to the core mission and priorities of the school and students
In collaboration with School Leaders and Central NeST Team, develop partnerships by establishing and implementing protocols to manage and maintain quality, deep and focused partnerships such that everyone on the school site is working towards common goals for student success and wellness. Which includes supporting all school site efforts around attendance and chronic absenteeism.
Serve as a resource to connect participants with appropriate partners related to housing, career and education, childcare, health care, family budgeting, and more.
Design and facilitate and recruit parents for Care Corps workshops based on the identified needs of the community.
Communicate regularly with other stakeholders related to the child (teachers, doctors, health workers, social service workers) and monitor and document participants' progress according to individual growth plans.
Plan and facilitate bi-monthly Campus Community Advisory Board (CCAB) meetings which will include school staff, families and relevant community agencies. The CCAB will meet to review the progress of our Care Corp effort and its continuous improvement.
Work with families to align parent and student growth plans, supporting family engagement with the student's experience in school. Collaborate with and be a part of any coordinated meetings as the Care Corps Coordinator.
Conduct home visits as needed and as applicable to support school staff and families with access.
Provide professional development training to school staff as-needed regarding the Care Corps program components, initiatives and best practices in community resources.
Provide consultation with parents, teachers, and other appropriate staff regarding the student's program and any adaptations/materials needed to facilitate improved performance in the classroom or at home.
Maintain relationships and effectively communicate with school leaders, teachers, and parents in all facets of the position.
Ensure the Integrated MTSS Team is viewed as positive supports to the organization's mission that are fully aligned with Rocketship's Core Characteristics (Innovation, Pursuit of Excellence, Authenticity, Community, and Tenacity), and not as bureaucratic obstacles to serving the needs of the students.

PPS Credential in Social Work preferred
2+ years of community outreach experience supporting parents who have experienced trauma and/or crises (e.g. homelessness, domestic violence), and have deep knowledge of the resources available to families
Experience working with students with a range of disabilities (learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, autism, etc.) (highly preferred)
Communication: strong writing and public speaking skills, and feel comfortable leading and facilitating large groups.

Additional Details:
The Care Corps Coordinator position will be on the Nest-based staff calendar, which includes paid time off for holidays.
This role and working with families often requires work on evenings and weekends.

Position Summary:
Based in San Jose, CA and reporting to the Associate Director of Social Emotional Learning, the BCBA role will be a key contributor to the development of highly individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for the small percentage of students in special education who have not responded to earlier attempts at behavior intervention.
The BCBA will serve multiple school sites which may include schools in San Jose, Redwood City, Concord, or Antioch. The BCBA will partner closely with school psychologists, mental health providers, special education case managers, school leaders, and program specialists to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, co-create Behavior Intervention Plans with IEP team members, and support with ongoing implementation and coaching of the plans to ensure fidelity. The BCBA will lead training to develop the mental health providers in their behavior expertise. The BCBA may also be involved in crisis level support and creation of safety plans for students with more significant safety concerns, as well as delivering professional development to Rocketship staff.
This position requires previous training and experience working with students with emotional and behavioral needs. It requires a commitment to serving students and a desire to think critically and creatively about how to support challenging behaviors in the general education classroom setting.
Essential Functions:
* Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Conduct thorough and comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments, including documenting findings and recommendations in a compliant report which will be filed in the student's special education file. FBA practices are to include: review of records, parent and teacher interviews, direct student observations for data collection, and coordination with school staff for additional behavior data collection.
* Design and propose Behavior Intervention Plans, in collaboration and coordination with the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team. Document the BIP in the special education database system (SEIS).
* Design and propose informal behavior plans, in collaboration and coordination with the school personnel.
* Collaborate and partner with Mental Health Providers to conduct quality Functional Behavior Assessments.
* Provide ongoing coaching to teachers, ISE specialists, paraprofessionals, school staff, school leaders, and mental health providers regarding implementation of behavior interventions in all school settings.
* Provide ongoing coaching to ISE specialists, paraprofessionals, and 1:1 aides regarding implementation of behavior intervention services.
* Plan and conduct student progress meetings for students in general education with available data and information. Coordinate with school personnel to develop behavioral goals and objectives.
* Consult with school leaders to determine behavior needs on campus and prioritize work.
* Design and execute staff professional development opportunities related to behavior intervention strategies for a range of audiences (school leaders, special education teachers, program specialists, mental health providers, etc.)
* Support consistent implementation of evidence-based behavior interventions in Rocketship schools, create user-friendly resources that support special education teams in the implementation of these interventions.
* Maintain a close working relationship with other members of the Network Support MTSS and ISE Teams (NeST-Rocketship's centralized office that operates in support of its schools and regions) to ensure exchange of best practices, coordination of efforts, and general support for the Integrated Special Education department.
* Ensure the MTSS Team is viewed as a positive support to the organization's mission that are fully aligned with Rocketship's Core Characteristics (Innovation, Pursuit of Excellence, Authenticity, Community, and Tenacity), and not as bureaucratic obstacles to serving the needs of the students.
Qualifications:
* Required: Possession of BCBA (Board Certified Behavioral Analysis) or BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analysis) license as dictated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
* Required: Bachelor's degree and in progress of obtaining Master's degree
* Required: Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis with 1 year minimum experience conducting behavior assessments and creating behavior plans for students with significant behavior challenges in a school setting.
* BCaBA or BCBA with less than 5 years of experience will be supervised by BCBA

The Role
Based in the Bay Area and reporting to the Director of Integrated Special Education (ISE), the Program Specialist will be a key strategic leader on the Schools team and critical to driving forward the quality of Integrated Special Education within Rocketship schools. The Program Specialist will drive school teams toward ensuring that all Rocketeers are served in a compliant, effective and high-quality environment, with the goal to achieve 1.5 years of growth (based on NWEA annually) in both math and literacy. In addition, with the broader Schools team, the Program Specialist will strive to continue to establish Rocketship as the premier national model for meaningful inclusion among charter schools and traditional districts. This collaborative role requires on-campus work, as well as work from our Bay Area Regional Office.

Essential Functions: School Support
* Support ISE team visions at school sites for network initiatives and school priorities in collaboration with school leaders and directors of schools.
* Regularly meet with schools leaders to develop, monitor, and adjust school-level special education instructional and compliance efforts.
* Co-develop and support the coaching plans for ISE teachers and ISE teams with the support of the managing school leader.

Position Summary:
The Care Corps Coordinator will work to provide integrated student support by addressing out-of-school barriers to learning through partnerships with social and health service agencies and providers. They will work to gain family and community engagement by making the school a neighborhood hub, providing adults with educational opportunities they want, such as ESL classes, green card or citizenship preparation, computer skills, etc. The Care Corps Coordinator will manage the complex joint work of multiple school and community organizations. The Care Corps Coordinator will also work to address chronic absenteeism and support school attendance efforts.
The Care Corps Coordinator will serve one school site in San Jose, Redwood City, Concord, or Antioch. The Care Corps Coordinator will partner closely with the mental health provider, office manager, school leaders, and other related service providers to provide direct social work services to help students succeed in their classrooms.
This position is contingent on term-limited supplemental funding and will be reassessed annually.
The CareCorps Coordinator will report to the Manager of Care Corps.
The salary for this position is $68,640.
Essential Functions:
* Case Management and Care Coordination of services for students and families. Support by coordinating, connecting the people to programs, externally and internally, document and provide progress updates to campus stakeholders when appropriate.. (i.e. expanded learning: behavioral health; and family engagement and support) to each other and to the core mission and priorities of the school and students
* In collaboration with School Leaders and Central NeST Team, develop partnerships by establishing and implementing protocols to manage and maintain quality, deep and focused partnerships such that everyone on the school site is working towards common goals for student success and wellness. Which includes supporting all school site efforts around attendance and chronic absenteeism.
* Serve as a resource to connect participants with appropriate partners related to housing, career and education, childcare, health care, family budgeting, and more.
* Design and facilitate and recruit parents for Care Corps workshops based on the identified needs of the community.
* Communicate regularly with other stakeholders related to the child (teachers, doctors, health workers, social service workers) and monitor and document participants' progress according to individual growth plans.
* Plan and facilitate bi-monthly Campus Community Advisory Board (CCAB) meetings which will include school staff, families and relevant community agencies. The CCAB will meet to review the progress of our Care Corp effort and its continuous improvement.
* Work with families to align parent and student growth plans, supporting family engagement with the student's experience in school. Collaborate with and be a part of any coordinated meetings as the Care Corps Coordinator.
* Conduct home visits as needed and as applicable to support school staff and families with access.
* Provide professional development training to school staff as-needed regarding the Care Corps program components, initiatives and best practices in community resources.
* Provide consultation with parents, teachers, and other appropriate staff regarding the student's program and any adaptations/materials needed to facilitate improved performance in the classroom or at home.
* Maintain relationships and effectively communicate with school leaders, teachers, and parents in all facets of the position.
* Ensure the Integrated MTSS Team is viewed as positive supports to the organization's mission that are fully aligned with Rocketship's Core Characteristics (Innovation, Pursuit of Excellence, Authenticity, Community, and Tenacity), and not as bureaucratic obstacles to serving the needs of the students.

Position DescriptionThe Elementary Athletics Instructor (Athletics Coach) is a full-time, hourly position designed for educators who are passionate about physical education, sports, and child development. The Position
The Senior Associate of Extending Learning will work under the direction and supervision of the school site Associate Director of Extended Learning. This position is responsible for facilities, staff development, and student culture of the extended learning program at the school sites they support. The hours for this position are 10am-6pm and it is a year round role. This role will work across 2 to 3 school sites supporting the student culture and staff development.

Position Summary: Rocketship School Psychology Interns are responsible for providing both direct and indirect support to students, families, and staff members in order to ensure high quality programming for students with disabilities.
Based in San Jose, CA and reporting to the Manager of Psych Services, the School Psychologist Intern, will play a critical role in ensuring we are meeting our Child Find obligation. At Rocketship Public Schools, our psychs and psych interns serve a small number of elementary schools. A typical day includes attending pre-referral meetings, initial/triennial assessment, behavior consultation, direct and indirect support of students receiving social emotional intervention, and supporting school leaders in implementing MTSS systems. Our schools utilize a meaningful inclusion model for special education, so an integral part of the day-to-day work is supporting teams in creating plans that allow all students, regardless of disability, to spend the majority of their day in the general education classroom. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Lead psycho-educational and formal behavior assessments; write quality, compliant assessment reports.
Attend IEP meetings; present assessment findings to the team.
Assist in the implementation of assessment recommendations as needed.
Participate in the pre-referral process and provide consultation to school teams regarding intervention supports for struggling students.
Work with parents to build knowledge of disability and inclusive support for students with disabilities.
Assist in providing consultation and advice to administrators, teachers, and parents regarding the general and special educational programs as appropriate.
Assist in coordinating, communicating and seeking consultation with community agencies as appropriate.
Maintain a compliant practice.

Qualifications:
Enrollment in a Masters and Credentialing Program for School Psychology (NASP highly preferred)
