Assemble and install PWBs into chassis using the latest drawing, parts lists and any pending CO's. Assemble modules to system chassis using the latest drawing, parts lists and any pending CO's. Route cables and harnesses from module to module and route any wire using the latest drawing and manufacturing instructions. Solder specified components and shields per IPC regulations. Hand clean solder joints for flux residue. Install specified connectors and attach specified cables to the modules. Aid in the verification of the hardware installed by a co-worker. Read and follow work instructions contained in either IFS's routers or the manufacturing intranet homepage. Receiving, reserving, un-reserving, issuing, un-issuing of any material in IFS. Understand the parts build list and incorporating CO's from all levels of the production floor. Aid with the troubleshooting of a unit that is completed by the technician by disassembling units or modules for retest, root cause analysis and reassembly. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 is required. Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification is required. Basic mechanical skills. Basic computer skills. High level of attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to interface effectively with internal customers. Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.
