The Commercial Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Rockwell Automation by actively contributing to a diverse range of fast-paced and challenging projects. You will focus on collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to support the successful implementation of Control Systems using Rockwell Automation technologies. Your Responsibilities: Develop and maintain deep technical expertise and commercial knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and industrial automation applications. Stay current with control and automation standards, particularly those relevant to industrial automation and critical infrastructure. Be a technical expert supporting Marketing and Sales in pre-sales engagements related to Controls and Design Software, including system architecture reviews and recommendations. Create technical documentation, presentations, webinars, videos, and other resources to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team and domain experts. Support trade shows by developing presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on labs. Conduct customer demonstrations both remotely and at Customer Solution and Experience Centers. Essential Responsibilities: An Aerospace Systems & Defense intern/co-op may experience work in the development of engine controls, navigation, & guidance systems; gas turbine engine components; electrical power systems; mechanical systems; vehicle health & data management systems; mission systems; computing systems; and platform systems integration. Responsibilities may include design, analysis, development, and testing, writing software requirements, software testing, simulation, tool development and product/program support. Qualifications/Requirements: + Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding. + Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in engineering (degrees accepted: Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science). + Willingness and ability to work in the United States; primary locations are: Dayton, OH. + Reliable transportation, many of our sites do not have public transportation available.
