Job Summary:
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Leads and communicates activities, company goals, and deadlines to team. Delegates tasks, provides updates on orders and coordinates work with various departments. Works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative. Communicates questions, concerns and issues and escalates as needed. Creates documentation for standardized procedures and assists in department training needs. Frequently interacts with peers and customers to exchange or present complex or technical information.
Used documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems for receiving, picking or delivering parts. Has ability to work independently and operate multiple Powered Industrial Vehicles to load, unload and transfer materials/finished product. Assembles product as required, delivers material to the production area, picks up waste, and delivers finished product on a scheduled basis following a set route. May also assist with changeover, provide tools and materials, and give any additional help needed to maintain standard work and keep the flow going.
May also place reorder requests for floor stock and bulk materials. Reviews documentation and leverages SAP/external systems to assess, replenish, and prioritize material and finished goods to support production and shipping processes. Provides documentation support, materials administration and process support. Performs data entry, discrepancy trouble shooting and manages cycle counts. Supports the training and onboarding needs of the facility by developing and updating training curriculum. Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 8 hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.

As an EMC Sr. Technologist, reporting to the Test Lab Manager, you will play a key role in planning and executing Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing activities. **What you'll do:**
The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton's Aerospace Group has an opening for a **Certified Precision & Superfinish CNC Machinist** . This position is based in Euclid, OH.
The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
**Position Overview:**
+ This position supports the machining of Main drive Shafts, Impeller Shafts and Gear which will later be assembled into Aircraft Fuel Pumps. Responsibilities include, set up, maintain and operate CNC thread and surface grinders, manual O.D. grinders, I.D. grinder and honing machines.
+ Perform visual and precision dimensional inspections and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y14-5 and the certified operator program.
+ Assistance may be given to other operators on proper operational procedures.
+ Perform 5S and other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
**Essential Functions:**
- Perform set up, which includes selection, mounting, balancing and truing wheel, securing work holding device/work rotating device setting speeds, feeds and drive dogs.
- Work from operational sketches and blueprints to determine size and form. Where not given, select appropriate grinding wheel.
- Use a variety of mechanical and electronic precision measuring instruments to check size before, during and after operation.
- Majority of work consists of close tolerance grinding operations where quality finishes are necessary and frequent changes in set-up are required. Concentricity or run-out problems may be encountered, and work must be indicated before grinding.
- Set up and operate all equipment with minimum assistance and be familiar with the work procedures involved in grinding a large variety of parts. Changes in set-up, maintenance of close tolerances, and quality finishes require almost constant attention.
- Move material within the cell.
- Perform minor machine maintenance.
- Perform more than one operation at a time as directed by the supervisor.
- Burr work internal to the cycle as needed.
- Perform necessary part marking.
- Maintain accurate lot control traceability, record keeping, logbook entries, NCR's and associated documentation according to QCP.
- Chart, plot and react to data per SPC requirement. Load and unload Datamytes.
- Set up, maintain and operate CNC turret grinders and any associated equipment
- Lapping may be required to meet print
- Train other operators on proper operational procedures
**Qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Must reside within a 50 mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the set-up AND operation of precision production CNC Machines

- Experience with set-up and operation of Precision CNC ID and OD Grind Equipment. Included but not limited to Sunnen, Kellenberger, Studer and Drake.
- Experience with roll gages, micrometers, and comparators.

In this internship, you will:
* Use modern project and program management tools and techniques to aid in the execution of projects related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS).
* Provide on-site implementation of Power Management and mission critical monitoring and control systems including Power Xpert, Foreseer, PowerNet, and next generation Power Monitoring platforms
* Provide applied engineering and consultation to customers in the areas of system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, training and modification of power management, control, and mission critical systems.
This internship will help prepare you for both technical and future leadership roles at Eaton. As an intern, you will be provided with a structured training and development curriculum; a blend of instructor-led, virtual classrooms, eLearning courses, and on-the-job training provided by expert mentors and team members to assist you in developing your career.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* Actively enrolled or received a degree in a bachelor's or master's program with a focus in engineering from an accredited institution
* Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8

Preferred Qualifications:
* Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a technical (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science) engineering program from an accredited institution
* Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
* Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community
* Prior electrical/power industry related experience

Position Criteria:
* Location will be in one of five major regions within the United States (i.e. Central, Northeast, Southeast, Gulf and West regions); typically in or near a major U.S. city
* Transportation to and from the worksite, and for incidental business travel, is the responsibility of the intern.
* Strong analytical, computer, writing and presentation skills
* Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb and regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels.
* This role may include up to 25% travel within a local region.
* Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter.
* The summer internship culminates with a formal presentation where participants showcase their success stories to leaders of the organization and receive feedback on their performance.
