The jury spent New Year's Day of 1931 at the courthouse listening to the broadcast on the radio of the Rose Bowl Game between Washington State College and the University of Alabama. (Alabama won 24-0). The following day, the jury was exposed to a heavy barrage of defense arguments.
In the spring of 1944 while serving in France, Doctor Robinson suffered a coronary occlusion and upon recovering was discharged from the service.
In 1945, Robinson returned to Spokane and began recruiting his colleagues to join him in a new style of medical practice.
By 1957 Rockwood Clinic moved to a larger facility on Eighth Avenue in a rapidly growing area that was becoming the medical center of the Inland Northwest.
