Conduct safety checks and assist with belongings searches as needed. Manage patient interactions in crisis situations, maintaining a calm and welcoming environment. Facilitate unscheduled admissions, including screenings and scheduling in collaboration with Patient Access. Communicate with multidisciplinary teams to address clinical criteria, documentation, and treatment issues. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and other regulatory requirements. Explain insurance coverage to patients and handle related inquiries. Provide clear documentation and communicate cases requiring special attention.
