Justin, in his role of ROKT’s Director of Innovation, focuses on forming mutually beneficial partnerships with the world’s great brands and finding ways to improve the company’s transaction marketing services for partners and advertisers alike. He co-founded ROKT in 2010. Prior to forming ROKT, Justin was Head of Content Acquisition in Australia and New Zealand for Google/YouTube. He was one of the first employees at Google Australia, spearheading the growth of the company’s AdWords platform across Australia and New Zealand. In addition, he led the launch, strategic business development activities and sales of Google Maps, Google Finance, Google Transit and Google Video. Justin began his career in the digital media industry in Business Development at search engine startup Decide Interactive, which was acquired by 24/7 RealMedia.

Currently thinking about the future of scale @ Datadog. Recent head of engineering and product at social impact startup responsible for building backend platform and infra for Hillary Clinton 2016. Past lead engineer at Netflix cloud reliability and solutions team. Specialties include chaos engineering, service oriented architecture, cloud infrastructure & reliability, platform tooling, and engineering leadership.

Laura was most recently at Goldman Sachs for over 10 years, holding positions ranging from Analyst to Executive director, firmwide strategy. Her expertise in investment banking and corporate finance has distinguished her career. Her decade of experience armed her with a proven ability to lead teams across multiple business functions, think creatively and independently as an owner, and execute to the highest standards under pressure. She has led, from origination to execution, over 55 strategic hedges of interest rate and currency risk for corporate and private equity clients related to acquisitions, sales, and financings. She also executed the first deal contingent option for Goldman Sachs in Asia. In addition, she was actively involved with the intern and graduate recruitment, training, and mentorship of junior employees and represented Goldman Sachs in a number of industry-wide panels.

She also leads a full life outside of work and is always pursuing at least one personal project (currently training for the NYC marathon). She loves food and cooking and is passionate about fitness and sports. One of her biggest personal achievements is knocking down and rebuilding her own home as an Owner-Builder.
