As an Engineering Manager for the Discovery team, you will lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for the initial stages of our customer's journey, from discovery to consideration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance the user experience and drive customer acquisition and engagement.
What you'll do
Manage a team of cross functional engineers (backend & frontend, multiple platforms) to develop and maintain features for the top of the funnel, including product search, recommendations, and personalized content
Work closely with Product to design and develop product enhancements and value for both fans and enterprise customers - including prioritization and planning cycles
Guide the team to improve operational and engineering best practices to keep our development machine humming
Provide regular job performance feedback, hold one-on-ones, and provide career development support to your direct reports
Play an active role in our recruiting process, helping us to grow our engineering team in any way you can
Perform code reviews and provide technical and design feedback to the team
Communicate technical and product decisions to the right people, resolve blocking issues, and collaborate with other leaders across the organization
What you have
5+ years as an engineer in a role that was mostly about writing code
2+ years of experience as an engineering manager of productive, motivated teams
A foundation of technical excellence and engineering culture that your team can look up to
Knowledge of the technology industry to help your team make good tooling and framework decisions setting them up for success
An understanding of how to lead by setting context and facilitating collaboration between cross functional partners in product, design, engineering and leadership
Experience using data to identify opportunities, set priorities and make decisions
Experience with SEO and knowledge of common SEO factors and strategies that drive organic traffic to a website, including an interest in AI Search

The salary range for this role is $170,000-$230,000 USD. This role is also equity eligible. The target OTE for this position is $200,000-$220,000.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to help build and scale our foundational platforms - platforms the healthcare database of the future that no one has yet built.

About the role

The Engineering Manager - Servicing will be a key member of R+ J's Technology team and will report directly to the Head of Product Engineering. You'll manage and coach a team of senior engineers who are responsible for the smooth operation and automation of our product lines. You'll be expected to autonomously develop, improve, and monitor these systems from a software engineering perspective, as well as work with the product team to deliver new servicing capabilities, especially in a partner-facing capacity.
In this role, you will:
Lead a nimble, high-impact full-stack engineering team which owns the servicing of our product lines, primarily: Rhino Security Deposit Insurance, Rhino Renter Guarantee, Rhino Loss of Employment Insurance, Jetty Deposit, Jetty Protect, and Jetty Credit.
Work with the growth and product teams to develop new servicing capabilities for internal operations teams and for partners/customers.

Additional Job details
The base salary range for this position is $210,000 - $250,000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The Incident Manager will serve as a key member of the newly established Incident Management function within the Operations Support organization and remain focused on high-priority service restoration by owning the administrative and governance aspects of incident management.
Manage enterprise-wide incident tickets (primarily P3 & P4) across the enterprise, ensuring:
Timely triage and resolution
Accurate documentation and categorization
Proper escalation and closure protocols
Maintain ticket hygiene and contribute to queue health across the ITSM platform
Identify recurring issues and contribute to trend analysis reporting
Collaborate with the Problem & Modernization Manager to support root cause analysis and service improvement efforts
Ensure compliance with incident documentation standards to support governance, audit readiness, and continual improvement
Participate in technical exchange meetings and coordination sessions with GEOC, CSD, and operational teams to ensure seamless ticket handoff, functional alignment, and consistent incident documentation across the enterprise

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with a PHD
DoD TS/SCI clearance
Experience managing incident tickets in enterprise IT environments
Strong understanding of ITIL-based incident lifecycle and escalation protocols

Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
