Machine operator will be working in our Columbus Ice Cream packaging equipment plant. This facility employs 30+ union team members. This plant is 125k sq.ft, operates with four work centers and possess a strong team oriented culture. A Successful HDD Operator is specially trained and has expertise in locating for horizontal/directional drill rigs and product support equipment. Essential Job Duties Operate various manufacturing equipment to produce metal formed parts. Assemble product. Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed. Meet customer quality specification. Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age. Prior manufacturing experience not required. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently stand and use hands/fingers to handle or feel product. Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Ability to occasionally talk/listen to others. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must have close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Other Requirements Must observe all safety rules and procedures and adhere to Pennant's drug free workplace policy. Must be able to work individually in a team environment. Must be able to work daily and weekend overtime as needed, based upon customer demands. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
