This position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and operating the off loader and packaging section of the tube mill on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for ensuring the tubing is off loaded and packaged per the customer requirements. Summary of Responsibilities: Offload, hand stack, and package steel tubing manually. Assemble bundles correctly to protect product from damage. Monitor auto off loaders to ensure tubes are off loading correctly. Inspect finished goods and reject non-conforming product Visually inspect tubing for quality defects. Ability to use measuring devices to measure tubing. Repacking and banding - repack tubing into bundles, pack, and / or band bundles according to customer requirements. Technical skill set to perform changeovers and set up. Other duties as assigned. Working outside and in the facility doing various tasks as needed.
