Position Summary:
The Installer-Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various trade specific systems. An Installer will be specific to one of three trades including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, working in residential or commercial projects.
Position Responsibilities:
Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and configuration of systems.
Install and maintain trade specific equipment, systems, and other building infrastructure according to industry standards and codes.
Test electrical systems for functionality, continuity, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Inspect systems to ensure proper installation and troubleshoot issues when they are found.
Identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks in line with company and industry safety policies.
Follow safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, to prevent accidents.
Adhere to national, state, and local codes for all worksite activities.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by observing housekeeping practices and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Work closely with contractors, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate worksite activities and ensure seamless project integration.
Communicate effectively with team members, superintendents, and project managers to meet project deadlines and requirements.
Mentor apprentices and co-workers in safe practices, technical skills, and proper tool usage.
Identify and organize required materials, tools, and equipment for tasks; maintain proper inventory control.
Safely handle, store, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
Submit accurate requests for necessary supplies and materials.
Represent the company professionally at job sites through positive interactions with clients, contractors, and team members.

Qualifications:
Required: High School diploma or GED.
Required: Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
Required: Valid driver's license.
Preferred: Ability to read and comprehend written (English) material.
Preferred: Completion of apprentice program or earlier technical program.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Procore, and Fieldwire or similar software.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.

This is a Journey-level position responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and replacement of electrical equipment at the hydro power generation facilities. Electricians may work indoors, outdoors and in confined spaces.
Job Responsibilities
Conducts visual, auditory inspections and electrical testing of equipment to troubleshoot problems for repair or replacement.
Identify problems and researches needed repair via manuals, manufacturer's specification and schematics; records status of equipment into tracking system.
Test, repair, and install components of electrical equipment by using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment - such work may involve climbing, working in elevated positions, tight spaces, and underground facilities -Work with chemical and chemical solutions, which includes, but not limited to, oil, grease, paint, PCB, and asbestos

**Position Specific Description**
This position is located at our West County Energy Center in Loxahatchee, FL and will travel the state of Florida to support the fleet outages. Tools are provided by the company. Days and shifts will vary based on the business unit needs during the outage. Normal schedule (not supporting an outage) is a day shift Monday-Friday. Overtime hours average approximately between 400 hours to 800 hours per year. Employees are offered per diem when traveling outside of their region. The plant operates 24/7 so individuals will be expected to work and support weekend days as needed.
