MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change. Position Summary: The HVAC Warehouse Manager will ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably. Position Responsibilities: Ensure all incoming deliveries (materials, equipment, and parts) are checked for accuracy before signing and accepting responsibility for the material. Ensure all warehouse teams members follow company policies and procedures inside the warehouse and while conducting deliveries. Ensure all warehouse team members follow all company safety measures and communicate equipment training and safety needs to the safety team. Ensure all employees and managers complete paperwork for every item taken and/or returned from inventory, without exception. Ensure all job packages are accurate when they arrive or when they are pulled and that warehouse associates are verifying with signatures. Verify rough and trim packages are pulled 100% complete prior to staging to go out the following day (complete with block/brick/pvc/gas assemblies/pads/etc). Oversee morning loadouts should not exceed the standard time per dock door per crew. Ensure material list request from crew leader should be received no later than the standard time prior to pick up. Ensure all material requests from crew leaders are received no later than the standard time for same day delivery. Complete a daily walk through to evaluate inventory levels to proactively order low stock. Maintain an open dialogue with vendors about material issues and relay those issues to the management team to proactively determine alternate solutions. Conduct quarterly inventory as well as daily spot checks. Maintain fleet maintenance and ensure routine care for all company vehicles in coordination with corporate Fleet Manager. Assist management with building vendors used for day-to-day operations within the building (propane/water/dumpsters/vending machines/etc.) Complete all required management reports. Oversee warehouse and shipping and receiving areas are kept clean and orderly at all times. Oversee that cardboard must be broken down prior to being placed in dumpster. Make sure that sections in the warehouse are clearly and appropriately marked. Maintain ability to perform all warehouse positions and willingness to fill in when needed. Stage deliveries and schedule delivery routes. Foster relationships with operations personnel to collaborate and achieve objectives. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Required: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Required: Understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and general safety policies. Required: Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills. Required: Ability to operate various types of vehicles/equipment and pass appropriate certification courses (Forklift, Box Truck, etc.). Preferred: 5+ years of related experience - HVAC/Electrical experience a plus. Strongly Preferred: Supervisory experience. Preferred: Associate degree. Physical Demands: Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting. Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
