Position Summary: The Electrical Field Superintendent (Multi-Family) will oversee the day-to-day activities of projects and coordinate with Project Managers to manage resources, ensuring the quality, production, and safety of installation operations. Position Responsibilities: Read plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. Routinely coordinates scheduling with all departments and PCI Subcontractors throughout the lifecycle of a project including startup, excavations, and closeouts. Identify all tools required for tasks and own appropriate hand tools. Identify and mitigate safety risks in accordance with the company safety policies. Complete all daily operational and safety documentation such as JHAs and as-built drawings. Assemble and install electrical equipment. Supervise the proper installation of electrical gear and components. Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications. Inspect electrical equipment and components to ensure the equipment is properly installed. Set up and maintain temporary power systems. Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures. Maintain proficiency in cable pulling methods used to run cable through specified pathways. Utilize specialized electrical tools such as multi-meters, tuggers, knockout kits, electrical hand tools, and terminating devices. Troubleshoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctions. Able to self-direct individual and team efforts to align with project priorities and deadlines. Be dependable, accountable, and consistent in all aspects of daily project supervision. Maintain knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and all State amendments and understand how they are applied in projects in assigned project location. Have knowledge in boxing and pulling Romex in compliance with national and local codes. Be a professional representative of the organization in all job site interactions. Provide on-site direction and leadership to workers. Manage all material on the jobsite regarding takeoffs, orders, receivals, storage, security, inventory control, and distribution of material daily. JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Responsibilities: Lead all jobsite activity from mobilization through podium, with focus on: Excavation support (soldier piles, lagging, tiebacks), Mat slab or pile cap systems, Waterproofing and dewatering systems, Podium structure transition and MEP coordination. Execute daily field operations with attention to tight right-of-way, pedestrian safety, and heavy equipment coordination within a constrained urban footprint. Coordinate with geotechnical consultants and shoring engineers to implement pre-approved excavation support plans. Manage utility coordination and shoring adjacent to existing structures, including potential UW properties and rights-of-way. Serve as field liaison with Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections (SDCI) and the University of Washington Planning/Facilities when applicable. Drive site safety compliance, particularly in areas such as excavation, fall protection, and trenching. Enforce QA/QC standards across all structural elements, including formwork, shotcrete, waterproofing membranes, and envelope interfaces. Track critical path activities for early-stage trades and monitor pre-pour checklists and concrete placement logistics. Required Experience: 8-12 years of field leadership in multifamily or mixed-use construction (ground-up projects preferred), including at least 5 years in the Seattle metro. Takes direction from the supervising Wellfield managers and directors. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** + Responsible for execution of all wellfield technician duties across assigned sites, primarily through delegation, but via direct performance of work when needed. + Trains and mentor's wellfield technicians across assigned sites. + Monitors wellfield performance to ensure adherence to company and industry standards and compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines + Plans and schedules maintenance of wellfield equipment. + Develops work schedules, assignments, and rotations for employees. + Participates in the employee hiring process. + Ensures employees are properly trained for their respective positions. + Reviews, approves, and submits employee timesheets and expense reports. + Provides employees with honest and timely feedback and coaching on performance. + Conducts annual performance reviews with employees. + Evaluates operations, maintenance, and performance of the wellfields. + Ensures that the wellfield preventive maintenance program is up to date, and that all documentation and records are filed (electronically or hard copied) appropriately. + Ensures the daily transmittal of all wellfield data, flare data, and associated operating reports and spreadsheets. + Maintains all assigned operating logs in proper order, including flare logs, inspection logs, SSM forms, etc. + Assists with the planning, implementing, and scheduling of all maintenance, training, wellfield expansions and special projects. + Works with plant personnel as needed to ensure that daily production reports, flow meter data, greenhouse gas data, sales meter data and Start-up-Shut down Malfunction (SSM) reports are up to date and delivered (daily/weekly/monthly) to the appropriate individuals/agencies as requested. + Oversees operation of the assigned wellfields in the most efficient and productive manner to maintain compliance with the site-specific Title V Operating Permit, New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and prescribed safety and environmental standards. + Performs equipment testing and develops action plans to maximize performance and implements improvements. + Plans and executes special projects to improve wellfield collection efficiency. + Determines service priorities and schedules projects and personnel accordingly. + Communicates and coordinates projects with plant and landfill personnel. + Maintains good relations with plant and landfill personnel. + Orders/purchases materials and supplies as required. + Ensures projects comply with government rules, regulations, the site-specific Title V Permit and NSPS guidelines. + Responds to callouts in a timely manner and works overtime as required. + Ensures maintenance and upkeep of facility all-terrain vehicles and trucks. + Ensures all analytical equipment calibrations and recordkeeping are current. + Has knowledge of all gas collection and control equipment. + Performs analytical tests and documentation as required, for example: Calibration of data collection and gas analysis instruments. + Travels regionally as needed to support assigned sites and wellfield technicians. Construction Project Manager - T&D Under limited supervision, oversees the execution of large projects, interprets contractual language/terms & conditions, and manages routine project management/contract administrative responsibilities.
