Job Description
Rome Health is currently seeking a Lead Operator. The Lead Operator will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations in our call center, as well as staff training and ensuring the call center is meeting our patient needs and goals, which are outlined in our standard operating procedure. Duties will include:
Supervising and training telephone operators on procedures and equipment, including computers and call center operations.
Ensuring prompt, accurate, and courteous service is given to patients and others utilizing the phone service.
Tracking of call volume to identify peak times and trends.
Establishing and maintaining a schedule to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and high volume periods.
Referring any urgent or emergent patient issues to appropriate clinical staff.
Will represent Rome Health with a positive and professional attitude while providing strong leadership to staff members to promote a strong culture of teamwork.
Required Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or G.E.D.
Knowledge of call center operations.
Medical office experience preferred

Maintains parts inventory and logs all service/repair activity. Typically reports to a project leader or supervisor. We seek a Billing Specialist to join our Customer Service Center team in a work from home full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch.
We need someone to be local in the Sacramento, California, region.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, required 1-3 years successful experience in Physical Therapy billing and collections, competency of Rain Tree or EMR equivalent and full knowledge of current billing policies.
Our team is solid and led by a popular Director. You may be required to come into the Folsom Office for training for a week or two, and rare, but possible, periodic Folsom meetings.
Under the general direction of the Patient Services Director, this position will be responsible for the collection of assigned clinic receivables or financial class receivables, to be determined.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Aggressively work aging's and follow through to complete resolution on all accounts. Be prepared to discuss or prepare listing of accounts over 90 days with explanations for the Patient Services Director's review. Work the highest dollar amounts first.
2. Review electronic claims denials daily to ensure timely collections. Review all paper claims prior to billing.
3. Run insurance bills including electronic claims as directed.
4. Bill secondaries and send appropriate paperwork as required for timely collections.
5. Research, reprocess and appeal claim denials and information requests.
6. Send/release statements timely as directed.
7. Prepare any needed account adjustments and non-contractual write offs for supervisor's approval.
8. Research and prepare patient refund requests on credit balances monthly and give to the Patient Services Director for review and payment.
9. Submit accounts for collections/letter service consideration to supervisor for approval.
10. Submit accounts for bad debt adjustment to supervisor for review.
11. Submit credit balances to supervisor for appropriate action by 12/31 of each year.
12. Monitor lien accounts and follow up needed in order to ensure lien limits are followed or resolved and accounts are resolved timely. Apply appropriate set-up and interest fees.
13. Assist patients in a professional and timely manner and refer any unresolved problem accounts to supervisor as needed.
14. Ensure accurate entry of all charges and patient data entry for Assisted Living billing, (if assigned).
15. Ensure complete and accurate entry of patient data in RT and TS per the deadlines set by the Patient Services Director including but not limited to the insurance, onset date for Medicare patients after charges are extracted and other pertinent information required for accurate billing and copayment collection.
16. Complete related work as assigned, including but not limited to charge entry as required.

Rome Health is currently searching for a Staff/Clinical Pharmacist.
The Staff/Clinical Pharmacist - Per Diem will ensure safe and effective use of medications through their proper storage, handling, evaluation, preparation, compounding, labeling, dispensing and administration. The Pharmacist must have in depth knowledge of medications and their uses. Duties will include:
•Reviewing prescriptions/orders issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to assure accuracy and appropriate medication management of patients/residents. Promotes use of formulary items by conferring with prescriber as necessary when non-formulary medications are ordered. Processes orders within PIS and assists in maintaining correct patient profiles and charging. Demonstrates ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as dosage calculations, formulation of pharmaceutical preparations and data analysis
•Monitoring patient profiles to ensure rational drug therapy. Review of drug allergies, drug interactions, and duplicate therapies will be performed during order entry. Reviews and monitors drug therapies that requires dosing adjustments as authorized by the physician. Review labs to ensure medication regimens are appropriate for specific patient/population.
•Performing all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
•Required to maintain competency for Rome Health's Antimicrobial Stewardship program. Personnel will carry out initiatives set forth by Infection Prevention and P&T Committee. Pharmacists will make monitor, report, and document interventions specifically related to Antimicrobial Stewardship.
•Preparing IV admixtures and extemporaneous parenteral products under aseptic conditions. Ensures that pharmaceutical preparations are sterile, properly packaged, labeled and stored, and not outdated. Ensures compliance with USP up to including assuming the role of an Assigned Trainer. An assigned trainer is assigned by the Designated Person(s) to be responsible and accountable for directly providing the training, observation, and evaluation of personnel for the preparation of compounded sterile and/or non-sterile preparations
•Answering questions and provides information/education to physicians, nurses, students, and patients and their families on the appropriate use of medications, drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage, etc. Documentation of such education to patients is to be completed within the medical record when applicable(minimum 25 patient educations annually). Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families.
EDUCATION,TRAINING,EXPERIENCE,CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
•Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a BS in pharmacy and/or PharmD degree.
•Current New York State License in good standing and Registration to practice Pharmacy.

Lead Operator

Rome Health is currently seeking a Lead Operator. The Lead Operator will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations in our call center, as well as staff training and ensuring the call center is meeting our patient needs and goals, which are outlined in our standard operating procedure. Duties will include:
Supervising and training telephone operators on procedures and equipment, including computers and call center operations.
Ensuring prompt, accurate, and courteous service is given to patients and others utilizing the phone service.
Tracking of call volume to identify peak times and trends.
Establishing and maintaining a schedule to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and high volume periods.
Referring any urgent or emergent patient issues to appropriate clinical staff.
Will represent Rome Health with a positive and professional attitude while providing strong leadership to staff members to promote a strong culture of teamwork.
Required Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or G.E.D.
Knowledge of call center operations.
Medical office experience preferred

Rome Health is seeking a Per Diem Kitchen Supervisor to join our Food and Nutrition team. The Supervisor is responsible for directing the work flow of departmental employees. The Patient Access Advisor is responsible for completing registration routines for patients presenting for services. The shift for this position is 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., (rotating weekends) The Patient Access Associate explains forms and obtains signatures as appropriate for the service to be provided. The Patient Access Associate verifies insurance coverage, validates medical necessity, documents prior authorization, collects patient out of pocket liability. The Patient Access Associate assures that all patients presenting for care have appropriate physician orders for the services to be provided according to hospital policy.
EXPERIENCE: Work in an acute care hospital, physician's office, or other health care agency desirable but not mandatory.
KNOWLEDGE NEEDED FOR JOB: Knowledge of office procedures and equipment, health insurance and medical terminology desired.
SKILLS NEEDS: Communication, keyboarding, operation of office equipment, telephone courtesy. Ability to process detailed information.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care in a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM - 7 PM)
Make daily rounds on assigned patients (average 12-15 per physician)
Admit patients and manage rapid responses/codes
Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available
Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR
Coordinate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care
Participate in a hospitalist team managing 40-50 patients per day collectively
No on-call duties
Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure
BE accepted if a new graduate
Must be Board Certified within 2 years of contract start

Qualifications:
