This position reports to the Vice Dean for Medical Education and has a primary role of providing oversight and creative input for the four-year MD WR2 University Program curriculum. This includes the preparation and presentation of an annual report on curriculum to the Vice Dean for Medical Education and all aspects of curricular compliance for LCME accreditation. This position is expected to be involved in several major projected curricular initiatives, including a curriculum renewal that will include integration of artificial intelligence into the curriculum, expansion of preclerkship clinical education, comprehensive oversight of all clerkship rotations including coordination of city-wide clerkship activities, development of advanced clinical experiences, and supporting innovation in assessment including use of technology. The Associate Dean is expected to maintain appropriate records including documented policies and procedures for LCME accreditation.
