    NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH JOB OBJECTIVES Administers the implementation, organization and troubleshooting of the network hardware and underlying communication protocols Provides both remote and on-site support for routing, switching, wireless and firewall systems to maintain reliable, secure and efficient network operations across all campuses Plays a key role on the Infrastructure team, ensuring that tools and systems used for ministry are efficient, resilient and aligned with Eagle Brook's mission Collaborates within a team that values both professional and spiritual growth while gaining hands-on experience with modern network technologies in a supportive, mission-driven environment ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Monitors the assigned network, ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime Assists with identification, troubleshooting and resolution of user data communication problems Installs and maintains peripheral devices including printers, switches, routers and other equipment Monitors and analyzes network load, including traffic and utilization trends Conducts periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network function and minimal downtime Protects networks from physical harm, unauthorized access and data damage by implementing security best practices, addressing vulnerabilities and collaborating with network security resources OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains daily logs and knowledge bases, documenting steps required to resolve network problems Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church's 9 core beliefs Associate's or technical degree 3+ years of related experience Proficient TCP/IP network protocols, functions and operations Proficient WAN/LAN/WLAN protocols and software, including troubleshooting Proficient ability to analyze and diagnose network problems using network tools and analyzer Proficient in managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Watchguard) Proficient in implementing and troubleshooting complex network configurations Proficient in network management and performance monitoring systems Practical hands-on experience configuring and installing network switches, equipment, and cabling Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree One or multiple of Net+, Security+, CCNA 5+ years of related experience JOB DETAILS Location: Centerville, MN Status: Exempt / Salary Salary Range: 56,000 - 66,000 Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Workdays: Monday - Friday (generally) Work Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (generally) Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work from home one day per week Ministry/Department: Operations Team: Technology WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS Regular sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like Occasional communication with others to exchange information Occasional light work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions Occasional moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another Occasional moving of self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces Occasional standing or sitting for prolonged periods BENEFITS Eagle Brook Church's benefit plan is designed to help you stay healthy, feel secure and maintain work/life balance.
