When Bob Pond founded the company in 1964, he wanted to offer an exceptional roofing experience to his Northern Virginia neighbors based on the quality of work being performed.
Beginning his career in the roofing industry in 1985, Malcolm rose rapidly from field superintendent to project manager and within two years, was promoted to general manager.
Roof Systems of Virginia, Inc. has provided superior roofing solutions to commercial property owners, commercial managers, commercial builders, construction consultants, architects, and individual property owners across the Mid-Atlantic region since 1993.
Roof Systems of Virgnia, Inc. was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1993.
In 1993, he founded Roof Systems of Virginia, Inc.
By 2002, in addition to roofing, she was able to offer siding, window and door solutions to Pond’s customers.
The company has won Angie’s List Super Service Awards every year since 2007 in multiple categories, has won CertainTeed’s Diamond Award for the second time and was twice named one of the area’s best contractors by Washingtonian Magazine.
In 2012, Patrick bought Pond from Betsy who stayed on as an advisor and to assist with marketing.
