Position Summary:
The Massage Therapists at Root maintain the highest standards of the profession. This means that they uphold the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of clients, others working with them, and themselves. By maintaining these standards, the massage therapist will draw even more regular clients and support Root's mission of consistent self-care.
By working in a whole body health environment, our massage therapists are viewing each client holistically and serving as an ambassador of integrative care offerings that can support their client's health journey and ability to thrive. Besides promoting comprehensive and ongoing treatment and offering home care solutions for their clients, our Massage Therapists will partner with providers of our other Root pillars in order to support clients on their journey towards whole body health.
Our shifts are 8am-2pm and 2pm-8pm, 7 Days a Week. Minimum 3 shifts required, one being a weekend (which includes Fri nights).

Professional and Ethical Therapeutic Massage Services
Ability to perform all massage, body and applicable add-on treatments offered on Root's services menu according to protocols
Conduct a focused client intake to note health conditions and evaluate the best treatment for each client
Performs 30 to 90 minute massages and completes appropriate SOAP note charting
Communicates and explains procedures and treatments appropriate for client's needs, including recommendations for future appointments
Attends all in-house training, continued education and staff meetings
Open to coaching and ongoing improvement to skills
Mentors, trains and assists new team members

Utilizes the 1-2-3 checkout process to build longstanding relationships with new clients and continue to nurture relationships with current clients in same-day rebooking.
Schedule Optimization & Outreach
Audits the appointment schedule in Mindbody week by week to maximize appointment capacity.
Recognize opportunities in the schedule to move current booked appointments and create further practitioner availability.
Performs outreach calls to targeted lists of clients, utilizing
effective sales skills to book appointments and sell memberships over the phone or through Mindbody MessengerAI.

The Licensed Medical Provider (LMP) delivers comprehensive addiction medicine and primary care services across both inpatient withdrawal management (60%) and outpatient addiction medicine (40%) settings. This hybrid role provides medical evaluation, stabilization, and longitudinal care for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring health conditions. The provider works as part of an interdisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, LPNs, CADCs, QMHPs, and CHWs to ensure high-quality, integrated medical and behavioral healthcare.
The position includes scheduled on-site and on-call responsibilities one weekend per month, conducting admission evaluations, issuing orders, medication management, and urgent medical coverage for withdrawal management clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct admission histories and physicals for detox and residential patients; complete comprehensive assessments for outpatient AMC patients.
Initiate, manage, and adjust treatment plans for substance use disorders, including buprenorphine, methadone coordination, naltrexone, and long-acting injectables under REMS/DEA guidelines.
Provide daily and as-needed medical oversight for patients in withdrawal management and early stabilization.
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including Hepatitis C, contraception counseling, STIs, wound care, and common primary care concerns.
Order, interpret, and review laboratory results, diagnostic studies, and urine toxicology screens; utilize the Oregon PDMP as clinically indicated.
Formulate and document individualized, evidence-based care plans with patient participation and informed consent.

Position Overview
The main goal of the Naturopathic Physician will be to build a strong sustainable base of clinic clients within Root Whole Body. The ND will partner with other medical providers and practitioners at Root in order to support clients on their journey towards whole body health. When they are not caring for patients, the ND will make connections in the community to promote their services. They will attend events, speaking engagement, develop blogs and social media content, and participate in marketing/promotional activities to increase their presence in the local community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Personalized Patient Experience:
Presents a safe, professional and approachable persona toward patients and co-workers
Adheres to a high professional image standard in dress, appearance, language, and lifestyle
Performs and records initial health history, assessment and evaluation of patients
Performs and records all sessions performed using appropriate diagnosis, treatment and billing codes according to established guidelines
Diagnose, prescribe, and treat patients with appropriate tests, techniques, and treatments.
Completes personalized prescription which may include treatment plan, supplements, complementary practices and products
Practices the highest standard of sanitation, neatness, and visual presentation
Maintains treatment rooms and common space neat and stocked at all times
Growth & Client Retention
Actively builds new patients and increases client retention
Contributes towards a healthy, growing and abundant clinic
