Low-stress and easy to manage. Enjoyed talking to the customers that would come through, as well as my fellow employees.
Work schedule was only handed out on Thursdays every week, giving little time to prepare for the next work schedule.
There was an employee discount that was nice. But it was also good to socialize and network with the other employees.
It is very customer service, employee and community orientated. I haven't seen any of its competitors try to nearly as hard to take as great of care of its employees as Rosauers does when it comes to pay, benefits, and 401 K. And its involvement in the communities it operates in is especially commendable for the size of the company.
Its not really a dislike, more a note about retail. This is a retail business and with that can come rotating schedules, split days off, and working holidays. Although, depending on the store management, they try harder than some competitors to help their employees with scheduling needs for children, school, and appointments.
The non-union employees get a graduated match that can reach 6%!
Nice store and friendly team and have good products there selection have is nice variety
