Impressive starting wage for entry level positions requiring nothing more than a good work ethic. Advancement opportunities are abundant and realistically obtainable. Benefits are the best I have ever had! I wish I had started here 20 years ago. Safety oriented with committees comprised of employees of various experience levels. Considering this is a production company, the hours are family friendly and allow for a healthy work/life balance.
Acquiring PTO takes longer than most other companies (but made up for with the retirement contribution and profit sharing in my opinion). It is a bit of a commute for most. New employee and new position/promotion training has room for improvement and can be inconsistent.
This is the first and only company I have ever worked for where advancement really is possible! If you are willing to perform at a level above your current rate of pay, take initiative and demonstrate a desire to grow, you will be recognized here!
If you are upfront and honest with them, you will be treated with respect.
By re-establishing pride in employment and leadership that actively seeks out and develops talented/motivated individuals.
There are not right or wrong answers during the interview. The single most effective thing an interviewee can do to improve their odds of being hired is to demonstrate a solid work ethic and a capacity to learn.
This is my first employment in this industry but from what I understand, it is better than most.
This question is pointed and holds no real relevance to any place of employment. An employer should hire the most qualified candidate....period! Actively seeking "diversity" in no way promotes social or racial equality. Actively seeking a minimum percentage of employees of various races is no different than actively excluding them. The end result is the same, selection based on race, ethnicity etc instead of qualifications. That being said, I am confident in Rosboro's hiring practices and that they are in no way influenced by an individuals race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.
Knowing that my contribution matters and my potential is recognized. This is going to sound super cheesy but its also true....I feel valued as an employee and as a person.
