Understand and use documentation of welding procedures and setup sheets.Certified welders would weld with a variety of equipment, mig, tig or gas. They may also be required to fabricate parts with no fixtures but have access to prints. Required to have the capacity to trouble shoot and operate complex fixtures and weld a large variety of materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, galvanized and brass, etc. along with training of other welders.
Requirements: Mark-up incorrect drawings and bills of material, submit to engineering and plan for change.Communicate with engineers and designers on problems regarding production tools.
