Position Summary
The Engagement Specialist will be hired from within the community area/neighborhood identified as Population of Focus (POF). Provide outreach and engagement services to ensure that POF is aware of the availability of mental health services and actively participate as partners in the design, implementation, and evaluation of crisis solutions. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Select Engagement Specialist positions must be eligible to pursue Certified Recovery Support Specialist credential (CRSS) based on their lived experience.
Qualifications

•Must hold a minimum DMH designation of RSA (Rehabilitative Services Associate)

Responsibilities:
1.Work hours prescribed and any additional hours-deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned overtime may be required.
2.In partnership with other team members, provide mobile crisis response services in the community when dispatched.
3.Support the engagement of individuals hesitant to interact with behavioral health professionals or first responders through trust-building and resource provision.
4.Actively participate as a partner in the design, implementation, and evaluation of crisis solutions.
5.Advocate for individuals with professionalism and a collaborative, non-confrontational approach.
6.Provide appropriate behavioral interventions and advocacy for individuals experiencing adverse mental health conditions.
7.Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of community resources and the full range of services offered by Rosecrance.
8.Provide clients with resources tailored to their needs, including referrals to additional treatment resources when necessary.
9.Conduct thorough follow-up communications with clients and/or their families, and provide additional referrals as required.
10.Ensure timely completion of all required documentation within designated timeframes.
11.Participate in training sessions aimed at obtaining the CRSS credential if applicable.
12.Participate in statewide events/summits/trainings/activities that support the education and development of consumer provider services.
13.Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, team meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
14. Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
15. Facilitate transportation of clients to Rosecrance buildings or hospitals as needed.
16. Contribute actively as an integral member of the clinical team, fostering collaboration and inclusivity by participating in all team meetings, discussions, and activities aimed at enhancing client care.
17. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.

Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00pm-4:30am
Training: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm for first 3 weeks

Additional Pay Enhancements in addition to Base Salary:

Position Purpose: The High Impact Claims Specialist will serve as a primary resource to identify high dollar collection issues with our commercial payors, increase revenue and track and trend payor collection issues. This role will work closely with management to support the A/R team's collection efforts.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of ten years' experience in researching and solving high dollar complex insurance claims and denials.
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, knowledge of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel.
• Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills
• Must be emotionally and medically able to perform essential job responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Review and process all BC/BS and Commercial high dollar claims (over $10,000) for denials, payor issues and payment trends.
2. Submit, process and track all appeals for BC/BS and commercial payors. Maintain knowledge of ERISA laws governing employee benefit plans and manage the appeal process for these claims.
3. Assist A/R staff with complex claim issues they are unable to resolve in a timely manner.
4. Track and trend all Single Case Agreements. Work closely with Contracting on any SCA payment issues / concerns.
5. Review payments for BC/BS and commercial payors for rate validation according to our contracts.
6. Track all denial outcomes for payment, write-offs and transfers to client liability. Identify the root cause for the adjustments to client accounts. Work with management to review adjustment trends and identify potential solutions.
7. Help maintain integrity of accounts receivable ledger, including aged receivable monitoring on an ongoing basis.
8. Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of revenue components including benefit plans, contract terms and rates and billing forms and codes.
9. Check status of claims through use of telephone, websites and/or other means available.
10. Document adjustments needed to patient accounts.
11. As needed, participate in phone conference calls with payors.
12. Pursue collection activities and follow up for balances outside of established norms.
13. Coordinate collection activities with outside agencies, including court appearances, as needed.
14. Provide feedback & education management with regards to issues that impact revenue flow.
15. Provide appropriate documentation and reports designed to assist in fiscal management of the agency.
16. Serve as a member of the SWAT Team and participate in team meetings.
17. Serve as a member of the Revenue Cycle Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
18. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.

Overview

Essential Responsibilities:

Position Summary
Responsible for the collection of outstanding balances from commercial insurance and self-pay payers, as well as continuously improving revenue cycle processes. Manage client business accounts, policy applications and collection activities.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED;
One to two years of experience in healthcare claims processing and collections, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, knowledge of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel;
Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed;
Excellent organizational skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
Work eight-hour shift five days a week and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.
Responsible for overall credit and collections activities of client accounts.
Maintain integrity of accounts receivable ledger, including aged receivable monitoring on an ongoing basis.
Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of revenue components including benefit plans, contract terms and rates and billing forms and codes.
Check status of claims through use of telephone, websites and/or other means available.
Document adjustments needed to client accounts.
Identify & recommend adjustments needed to client accounts.
Pursue collection activities and follow up for balances outside of established norms.
Coordinate collection activities with outside agencies, including court appearances, as needed.
Maintain consistency in application of credit policies throughout the revenue cycle - from admission to final account resolution.
Perform secure handling of cardholder data, including encryption, data storage limitations, and adherence to security protocols.
Participate in mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) training, access controls, and regular security assessments, all aligned with PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) guidelines.
Provide feedback & education to departments/internal customers with regards to issues that impact revenue flow and or capture.
Provide appropriate documentation and reports designed to assist in fiscal management of the agency.
Serve as a member of the Revenue Cycle Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.

Overview
