Job Description Nevada State University invites applications for the position of 160 Hour Appointment - Art Models. Nevada State University is looking to build a database of models, who we can call from time-to-time to pose for our art classes. Models will perform short dynamic poses for warm-ups as well as hold longer more sustained poses for drawing sessions. Models may be scheduled for a variety of sessions according to their availability. Hours and locations (generally on campus and during regular class times) will be worked out with as much notice as possible. Modeling involves posing for figure drawing and art classes. Students come to the classes with a range of art experience, and we have both male and female students in the classes. Models must be willing and able to pose nude. Models will be expected to remain in the pose requested by the instructor for an extended period of time. The ideal model can pose in a range of traditional and original poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required, to demonstrate the flexibility and anatomy of the human form. Models should have an awareness of classic and traditional poses in art and be able to take direction. Applicants should be punctual, professional, and reliable. All ages (must be at least 18 years old) and body types are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as an artist's model, or dance, acrobatic, or theater experience is preferred, but not required. Qualifications Qualifications Required * EEG registry eligible within 24 months of hire and completed within 36 months of hire. One of the following: * Graduate of an accredited NDT program. * Completion of the UEI program. * One (1) year of applicable experience working in a patient care environment. * One (1) year of employment as and EEG Technologist in Training with the University of Utah. Licenses Required * Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire. * Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.
