In the wake of the stock exchange float of 1994 and the systematic policy of internationalization pursued subsequently, the company has developed from an export-oriented, specialist business into a worldwide group and a leading supplier of equipment to fire services around the globe.
In 1994, Rosenbauer began an effort to create a presence in the North American market.
Today, the effort to expand into the North American fire market launched in 1995 has been successful venture.
Further strengthening continued in 1998 when Central States Fire joined the partnership.
Two years later, in February 2000, the team was further enlarged with RK Aerials.
For the first time in 2004, the four US companies appeared at the largest North American fire service trade fair, the FDIC (Fire Department Instructor’s Conference) together under the “Rosenbauer” umbrella brand.
Rosenbauer America Group is honored to announce the retirement of its Chairman and President Harold Boer effective December 31st, 2019.
