The Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.
Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc.
Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact. This will include the assessment of the scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to complete a project successfully.
Responsible for preparing a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies.
Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.
Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.
Supervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion.
Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client.
Review any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.
Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. Project Manager.

The Corporate Subcontract Administrator is responsible for processing agreements, including subcontracts and change orders, monitoring the status of subcontracts, assisting the department in document and information gathering.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Examine and confirm departmental subcontracts and accompanying documentation for completeness and accuracy of information.
Determine method to process subcontract based on dollar amount, timeliness required, existing open contracts, and/or competitive bidding.
Address discrepancies, incomplete information, clarifications, and compliance in documentation.
Issue and maintain agreements, including subcontracts, design service agreements, work authorizations, and change orders by following department processes and workflows.
Participate in the continuing development of department instructions, policies, and procedures.
Conduct subcontract-related audits to ensure that subcontract policies and procedures are followed.
Work with managers in establishing and maintaining effective subcontractor partnerships to achieve active cooperation, team alignment, and stimulate the desire to award future work with subcontractors.
Collect and summarize subcontract and project data and trends to report to management.
Communicate subcontract procedures and policies to departments.
Coordinate with various departments, including upper management, project management, prequalification management, safety, and finance, on the issuance of agreements and change orders.

The Electrical Lighting Designer II is a mid-level designer responsible for creating marked drawings, model development, and other documents showing equipment and device layouts and branch circuiting for power, lighting, and auxiliary drawings. In addition, this position provides calculations and documentation for the design of lighting and power systems, as well as details as required to define and clarify the intent of the design on drawings. Utilize visual lighting software and energy codes (such as International Energy Conservation Code and Title 24”) to create lighting designs.
Mark up branch circuit lighting and power plans and fill in panel board schedules with moderate
Perform Energy Code calculations, documentation, and local jurisdiction energy requirements with little supervision.
Apply and perform Rosendin standards for wire sizing, transformer feeders, and protection from published schedules.
Calculate power loads, size feeders, and determine the estimated demand load summary for a distribution system under the direction of a Sr. Designer or an Engineer.
Direct and coordinate signal and low voltage subcontractors with other trades, such as architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, vertical transportation, kitchen equipment, and OFCI systems.
Create details as required to define installation for construction.
Provide the design lead function for small jobs.
Ability to review manufacturer submittals for electrical characteristics.
Layout Electrical Room, including clearances, with minimal oversight.

Job Summary
Summary: The HVAC Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to the facilities engineering and maintenance functions and is assigned to work for a Supervisor, Foreman, and/or Master Mechanic on a regular basis.
Incumbent is guided by a comprehensive and proven skill in one trade as evident by possession of an appropriate license from the state. Within the incumbent's chosen trade, he/she will work independently to analyze and correct complex problems and ensure that non-license workers perform work in a manner consistent with correct work practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Updates work statuses and documents tasks completed in the CMMS utilizing a mobile device.
Helps determine manpower, material needs, and deadlines for jobs and projects.
Cleans, lubricates, services, repairs, and diagnoses malfunction of HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems, sterilizers, food service equipment, sprinkler and standpipe systems, transport systems, electronic signaling systems, fire alarm systems and similar plant and specialty equipment items
Assists in making decisions on all repairs and reports major problems to the Maintenance Supervisor, Foreman, and Manger as appropriate.
Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical and mechanical systems, or the facilities of any related systems, using power & hand tools and other necessary equipment.
Reviews outside vendor projects and makes punch lists.
Analyzes and corrects complex building system problems and electro/mechanical problems related to utilities.
Supports project management activity as needed.
Responds to emergency problems in the facility and makes emergency repairs as needed.
Maintains logs, performs rounds, and completes P.M. work orders, tests, and inspections.
Makes recommendations for modification or improvement of preventive maintenance systems.
Maintains shops and mechanical areas in a clean and safe manner.
Preforms other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
One of the following: Journeyman Electrical License, Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, or Journeyman Plumber License.
Experience working with blueprints and schematics.
Valid driver's license.
A general understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
Rudimentary ability to utilize hand-operated construction equipment.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and kneel/bend/stoop and perform strenuous labor for extended periods of time.
Working Conditions:
Some exposure to elevated degrees of high heat, noise, dust, dirt and/or areas requiring infection control. Requires meeting deadlines for completion of work on a daily basis. Must be able to work all hours, including weekends and nights, as necessary, in order to maintain facility at the appropriate and safe level.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design and develop intra-switchgear and inter-equipment control systems
Design and develop site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO)
Conduct vendor coordination and submittal review and factory witness test to ensure equipment are produced to spec and conform with all design-build requirement
Design and develop safety mechanical, electrical, and or electromechanical interlock systems
Design and develop system wide automation systems using PLC or RTAC style industrial controllers, including but not limited to: System overload prevention, multi purpose busway interlocks, load management systems, generator plant load curtailment systems, Gen plant start and load controls including selective load pickup and load shed schemes, etc.
Design and develop SEL/ABB/Siemens relay protection and logic settings such as MTM transfer schemes using mirrored bit communication or hardwire
Design and develop SEL/ABB/Siemens relay IEC61850 based protection and control logics
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Understanding on power system and provide power system failure analysis, event analysis or SOE analysis and or develop a metering / triggering system to conduct such analysis.
Understanding of electrical power systems including generators, transformers, motors, automated switch gear, protective relays, UPS systems, DRUPS systems, motor-generator sets, battery storage systems, inverters, PV systems, wind turbines, substation equipment etc.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

Our Summer Internship program is a 10-to-12-week paid opportunity.
Your internship, at Rosendin, can be the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge outside of the classroom and apply the concepts and theories of your major field of study. The hands-on real-world experiences that you encounter during our internship program enable you to develop your potential and make key contacts for future networking. Use your internship to determine your interest level in certain career fields, get feedback from professionals regarding your strengths and weaknesses, and to further your education and expand your resume.
In mid-June, we invite all our Interns across the country, to spend a week at Rosendin's Internship Week. Subject matter includes Construction Project Management, Estimating, Engineering, Safety, and more. We will visit live job sites and have team building events to make this a very valuable part of your overall internship experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide operational and technical oversight to the Miller Electric teams working in live and active critical environments vital to client operations, livelihood, and business objectives
* Assist in implementing and auditing full utilization of existing tools to follow critical environment guardrails and checkpoints pertaining to projects and work evolutions managed by Miller Electric in operational and critical environment spaces
* Manage critical environment guardrails & checkpoints dashboards for compliance and continuous improvement
* Support new business and expansion of existing business opportunities in operational and critical environment spaces.
* Assist in internal connections with other facility solutions provisions to expand business consistency between markets.
* Review and assist in preparation of the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, work plan schedules, milestones, and risk identification planning
* Oversee and assist in change management, method of procedure and work script drafting, review, and management in critical environments and operational spaces
* Develop risk management and communication plans for critical environments
* Develop standards and best practices for work execution in operational spaces
* Leads operational environment training program for field and management leaders
* Ensure full utilization of existing tools and programs to follow policies and procedures pertaining to projects and work evolutions managed by Miller Electric to provide overall quality control, operational excellence for project and maintenance work evolutions.
* Facilitate meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of initiatives across operational environments
* Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of electrical installations and systems to identify and resolve any non-conformances and train others to do the same
* Engage in and lead project walk-throughs to support work execution in operational areas and critical environments
* Collaborate between project management team, engineers, manufacturers, owners, and contractors to establish and maintain requirements for projects and maintenance
* Build long-term relationships with both clients and fellow employees by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions.
* Engage and cultivate opportunities for expanding preventative maintenance and NFPA 70B initiatives for existing clients or projects and identify new opportunities.
* Work closely with safety department to ensure that risk management program is implemented and adhered to.
* Provide continuous improvement, operational excellence program improvements and standardization to include root cause analysis and lessons learned
* Frequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to understand progress, needs, or issues and provide hands-on training as required
* Provide consistent feedback and reports to upstream stakeholders
* Work closely with regional management to ensure teams have all resources required for work in operational spaces and are in compliance with all policies, guardrails, and checkpoints

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
This role is owner-facing, project management-facing and field-facing. This role carries responsibility for management-level issue expediting, field technical support, startup technical support and commissioning technical oversight. This individual is intended to be the Project Manager's technical representative as well as a technical resource for the QC Managers and Site Superintendents.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Develop test scripts based on schematics, SOO and logic diagrams and perform system level automation, interlock system tests
Conduct vendor coordination and submittal review and factory witness test to ensure equipment are produced to spec and conform with all design-build requirement
Design and develop safety mechanical, electrical, and or electromechanical interlock systems
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Strong understanding on various Medium voltage, low voltage switchgear products
Strong understanding on CT, PT, metering and relaying (SEL, ABB, Siemens) both protective and logic and able to provide basic upload download and basic level configuration.
Strong understanding on PLC operations and able to develop full scale test scripts
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and minimum of 5 years of field engineering experience in electrical power systems
Minimum of 10 years of field engineering experience

Supervise the activities of laborers, carpenter's helpers and apprentices
Use power tools including but not limited to, electric saws, hammer drill, drills, reciprocating saws, band saw, jig saw, miter boxes, pneumatic nail guns and sanding machines
Verify trueness of structure or other building components using plumb bob and level

Construct braces and specialty concrete forms

Skills or Experience Requirements:
Must hold a current Journeyman Carpenter license/certificate (if required by the applicable state, city or county)

Lift and/or pull 50lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment
