The Procurement Team Lead will manage a work group responsible for the procurement of engineered equipment, commodities, permanent plant materials, and small tools and supplies. This position is a ‘working manager' role that will execute contractual obligations while providing oversight, support, and mentorship to Procurement Agents and Sr. Procurement Agents.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Monitor, evaluate, and mentor working team on meeting or exceeding performance goals and expectations.
Ensure team is complying with procurement policies and procedures and is in strict adherence to documentation requirements.
Oversee and plan all aspects of procurement from pre-bid closeout.
Effectively manage people and projects within assigned Region to pursue cost savings opportunities, while implementing and adhering to process standardization efficiencies.
Provide coaching and mentoring to staff personnel as required and provide performance evaluation input to Regional Procurement Manager.
Support estimating department by contacting suppliers for budgetary quotations for materials and equipment in the preparation of bids.
Represent company in contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
Negotiate terms and conditions with equipment and material, while consulting with corporate attorneys and senior management project and risk while commercial competitiveness.
Monitor and oversee execution of the competitive bid process via Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quotes (RFQ) for their team.
Responsible for the qualification and evaluation process for suppliers of materials and equipment.
Lead aggregated sourcing events across regions as needed to drive procurement value on behalf of Rosendin Electric (REI).
Collaborate with the Center of Excellence on larger category strategy initiatives geared toward increasing REI margin and enhancing process efficiencies.
Review all internal/external metrics for our suppliers, procurement, and operations to ensure targets are being met, and engage with Regional Procurement Manager to identify the root cause and mitigation actions to address any deficiency gaps.
Ensure recommended awards are in accordance with the approved decision model and Delegation of Authority to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
Ensure that mutually beneficial relationships are in place with suppliers through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Provide feedback assist in analyzing market and delivery systems assess present and future material availability.
Communicate and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
Responsible for projections financial planning,delivery schedules and procurement reporting.
Responsible for the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
Oversee the development and implementation of procurement and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Oversee the projections, financial planning, delivery schedules and reporting.
Review materials for accuracy upon receipt, and oversee material review process. Enter documentation into purchasing system.
Review and approve invoices.with vendor and A/P resolve invoice problems.
Oversee the development and use of 3rd-party Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
Oversee the return material ensure proper and timely credit to the project

The Director of Procurement, Materials (East & Central) for major projects is responsible for overall management of the execution of material contracts over multiple projects within the East and Central regions reporting to the Vice President of Procurement. The Director is responsible for implementation and creation of material procurement processes and procedures, supporting project teams with procurement execution, acting as the corporate liaison to the project teams and operational leadership, while ensuring compliance with company and contractual obligations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Accountable for the competitive request for proposal (RFP) process for all materials to ensure the sourcing teams are pursuing the appropriate spend categories and negotiating the best overall value on behalf of Rosendin Electric (REI)
Identify and manage the internal/external metrics for our suppliers, procurement, and operations to establish a culture of continuous improvement on behalf of REI. Ensure proposed and implemented mitigation actions are appropriately addressing identified deficiency gaps.
Accountable for all material sourcing events, in collaboration with the Center of Excellence, to minimize operational disruption, mitigate supplier risks, and drive value to the REI bottom line
Oversee bid proposals, the creation of negotiation plans, and terms and conditions/commercial negotiations.
Ensure Operations receives the appropriate support required for the development of their project estimates based on material pricing and statement of work expertise
Manage and oversee the Enterprise database that is utilized by the Estimating department to quote material prices for future projects
Responsible for ensuring all recommend awards are in accordance with the approved decision model and Delegation of Authority and that adherence to procurement policies and procedures is strictly enforced.
Ensure you and your staff establish and maintain effective client relations to achieve active cooperation, team alignment, and stimulate the desire to award follow-on work. Accountable for monitoring and expeditiously addressing any client relationship concerns.
Act as strategic liaison between operations, suppliers, and manufacturers as necessary, and in alignment with VP of Procurement
Provide planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
10+ years in professional experience specifically in procurement, contract management, project management or related role
Demonstrates leadership and ability to work well with others establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Rosendin staff and vendors.
Demonstrated experience developing procurement strategies.
Demonstrated experience overseeing negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
Demonstrated experience creating, managing, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) via contracts or Service Level Agreements (SLA's), and addressing any performance gaps.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, and managing overall accountability for team-based deliverables, deadlines, and quality thresholds.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) Certification preferred.

Qualifications

Strong, first-hand knowledge and experience related to scheduling, material lead times, product knowledge and installation durations.

The Senior Project Scheduler is ultimately responsible for driving the development and implementation of project schedule. Keeping both Site Project Management and Corporate Management updated and informed with the project vitality. Able to identify potential delays and impacts in advance of project delays. The Senior Project Scheduler is also responsible for ensuring compliance with project's contractual schedule requirements. Supports all project (internal and external) partners in delivery of work-around scenarios to recover and or improve upon a time completion of project scope. Open and clear communication is essential.

Create, update and maintain electrical construction schedule
Qualify GC schedule submissions
Monitor relationships, constraints and milestones

The Electrical Lighting Designer II is a mid-level designer responsible for creating marked drawings, model development, and other documents showing equipment and device layouts and branch circuiting for power, lighting, and auxiliary drawings. In addition, this position provides calculations and documentation for the design of lighting and power systems, as well as details as required to define and clarify the intent of the design on drawings. Utilize visual lighting software and energy codes (such as International Energy Conservation Code and Title 24") to create lighting designs.
Mark up branch circuit lighting and power plans and fill in panel board schedules with moderate
Perform Energy Code calculations, documentation, and local jurisdiction energy requirements with little supervision.
Apply and perform Rosendin standards for wire sizing, transformer feeders, and protection from published schedules.
Calculate power loads, size feeders, and determine the estimated demand load summary for a distribution system under the direction of a Sr. Designer or an Engineer.
Direct and coordinate signal and low voltage subcontractors with other trades, such as architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, vertical transportation, kitchen equipment, and OFCI systems.

Job Summary
The Mechanical Superintendent plays a critical leadership role within our mechanical-focused construction team, overseeing all aspects of installation on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This position is responsible for managing field operations, supervising crews, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality and code compliance throughout each phase of the project. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and proficiency across all divisions of work within the mechanical scope, including: some plumbing, HVAC, Duct, Millwright, Rigging, Sheet Metal, Pipe Fitting, Fabrication, Insulating, and Welding. A strong foundation in technical knowledge, field coordination, and construction sequencing is essential. The Mechanical Superintendent must also demonstrate excellent communication skills to lead teams effectively, interface with project managers and trades, and ensure seamless execution on the jobsite. In addition to mechanical expertise, this role is responsible for enforcing all Safety and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) activities to ensure that all installations meet or exceed company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Position Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily workload operations across multiple active job sites
Conduct daily Job Hazard Briefs and ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards, NFPA and company safety protocols
Interpret construction drawings and specifications to plan, layout, and coordinate installations
Enforce and implement project-specific QA/QC procedures, including inspections, testing, and documentation
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, general contractors, vendors and subcontractors to align work schedules, resolve conflicts, and maintain workflow
Forecast manpower needs and coordinate crew assignments based on project timelines and resource availability
Perform material take-off s, schedule material deliveries, verify accuracy of received materials, and ensure proper storage and use on site
Identify installation issues early and work with field staff and design teams to develop corrective action plans
Participate in pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and safety reviews as required
Track and report daily progress, labor hours, per diem, equipment usage, and jobsite conditions to the project management team
Ensure compliance with all local codes, NFPA, OSHA and inspection requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
Provide on-site training and mentorship for apprentices and junior staff
Handle employee performance concerns in coordination with HR and project management
Facilitate project closeout duties, system commissioning, and customer training
Support continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements, tool upgrades, or efficiency improvements
Able to operate and/or train employees in the use of heavy equipment including but not limited to: forklifts, telehandlers, and aerial lifts
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of solid hands-on experience as a Field Superintendent
Knowledge of state and local Building Codes
Average proficiency in current technologies
OSHA 30 minimum certification
Any sum or combination of licenses or certifications in the competency of trade work including but not limited to: Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Rigging, Millwright, and Fabrication

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Bachelor's in Engineering in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) certification
10+ years of related engineering experience, whether through consulting or working for an electric utility
Project management experience
Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Required Experience in civil/structural design work related to: MV to HV electrical substations and/or electrical switchyards including: site grading, drainage analysis, detention basin design, structural foundation, retaining wall design, geotechnical analysis, pavement design, SPCC design, SW3P design, wetland access roads, and security fencing

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Provide operational and technical oversight to the Miller Electric teams working in live and active critical environments vital to client operations, livelihood, and business objectives
+ Assist in implementing and auditing full utilization of existing tools to follow critical environment guardrails and checkpoints pertaining to projects and work evolutions managed by Miller Electric in operational and critical environment spaces
+ Manage critical environment guardrails & checkpoints dashboards for compliance and continuous improvement
+ Support new business and expansion of existing business opportunities in operational and critical environment spaces.
+ Assist in internal connections with other facility solutions provisions to expand business consistency between markets.
