SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring invoices for assigned accounts are submitted timely, accurately, completely and in accordance with established billing processes or procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Process approximately 150 invoices daily, keeping data entry errors within the guidelines of the Company's efficiency standards. Audit invoices for the appropriate sales tax rates and calculation issues; post to a General Ledger. Resolve issues with invoices unable to be keyed - identify issues and send them to purchasing for resolution. Prioritize work so that discounts are maximized. Provide timely resolution of issues when called by vendor. Resolution includes interfacing with Purchasing Agent and vendor until issue is resolved. Reconciliation of monthly vendor statements. Checks are run and processed three times a month. This entails comparing check to imaging system and accounting system for accuracy. Perform general clerical duties including copying, faxing, mailing, and filing. Responsible for the completion of the workflow process along with maintaining vendor relations. The Material Handler is responsible for performing an array of duties such as loading, unloading and transporting materials to and from jobsites. This is considered to be a safety sensitive position. Responsibilities Assist electricians during the installation of new electrical systems or repair and maintain electrical systems. May be required to obtain equipment certification to operate material handling equipment. May be submitted as an approved Bergelectric driver to receive and deliver materials. They must be in compliance with state and local codes. Must interact with clients, vendors, and Bergelectric employee in a professional manor. Using a variety of hand and power tools, helper electricians productively and safely install electrical and low voltage material. Duties include cleanup activity, gathering and transporting materials and tools to electricians on the construction project. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Researches and resolves invoices that are incomplete and unable to be billed. Performs timely collection of payment for assigned accounts. Prepare time & material billings for submission to customers. Ensure that billing records are accurate and up to date. Responsibilities Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems in full support of Bergelectric Corp. safety, operations and productivity initiatives. Use industry related hand tools and power tools. Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems. Feed to, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc. Splice and terminate wires at junction points. Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings. Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems.
