YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The QA/QC Engineer (Renewables) is responsible for managing and implementing the Rosendin, and/or project specific, QA/QC program. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Review all installation methods for conformance to the contract documents. Ensure all materials and equipment delivered to the site conform to the contract documents. Conduct pre-installation meetings with the safety manager and foreman prior to proceeding with new phases of installation to ensure safety and compliance with the contract documents. Make regular site inspections, provide detailed reports noting any deficiencies in the installation and make follow up inspections to ensure corrective work is done. Make all inspection requests and walk with inspector to ensure that all inspections are complete, approved and documented. Be responsible for all QA/QC documentation and record keeping including final QA/QC control submittals. The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit. The Role: This position entails building and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for the purpose of automated Silicon design and Design Verification (DV). The engineer is expected to build LLM based EDA workflows which assist the Design Engineers in building the next Micron product at higher velocity and greater quality. Responsibilities: * Develop LLM applications to automate electronics design and verification. * Optimize and fine-tune LLMs for the purpose of automated corner case uncovering, design optimization and spec-to-design translation. * Develop and implement RL based retraining and prompting to elicit desired outputs from LLMs. * Curate and maintain datasets for training and evaluating LLMs for the purpose of Silicon Design Automation. * Benchmark the LLM efficiency and propose methodologies for further improvement. * Collaborate with other Silicon authorities to integrate LLMs into existing EDA workflows. * Contribute to the development of standard methodologies for LLM development and deployment. Qualifications: * BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience * 2+ years working on transformer models. * 3+ years experience with Python. Preferred Qualifications: * Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering * 3+ years building LLM EDA workflows * 3+ years experience supervising the fine-tuning of LLMs. * Highly proficient in Python programming Basic understanding of MLOPs. * Having studied or practical experience in a formal course in Machine Learning, Robotics or Computer Vision. * Publication track record in major ML conferences like: NeurIPS, ICLR, ICCV etc. The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $193,000.00 - $328,500.00 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
